would you bent down and pick it up?

EEEEWWWWW. No. Dirty. But I have to say that I would brave the nastiness for a $20

Yeah because I can always go wash my hands. Besides, that 20 has probably been in worse places than the dime has

Yup!

If it''s in my house, yes.
If it''s in my car, yes.
Probably not on the street though...probably wouldn''t see it.

No. I always leave it for some little kid to find. I still remember when I found a silver dollar on the ground many, many years ago!

Yes. Because my late grandpa had a thing about dimes, so everytime I see one I think of him.

nope.

Yep - and pennies too.

A few years ago my sister and I were doing some early Christmas shopping and we found a $20 in a parking lot. We took it and split it.

Absolutely YES!

no, not on the street

In my house or office building, yes. Not on the streets....

Yes, I believe it''s good luck.

Yep definitely!

Nope, I don''t bend over for anything less than a buck (we have dollar coins here).

Yes, I have a coin jar that I fill up with spare change and we spend it as pocket money during vacation. I carry hand sanitzer everywhere, so I think it''s safe. It''s not like I''m going to put it in my mouth. What makes the change you have at home any cleaner than that on the street? If I pick it up and spend it, it could be your change and then when you drop it at home, you pick it up.. same difference.

Depends on how broke I am at any given time...

But usually yes....

Nope. I normally don''t even notice change on the ground.

sure would.... a dime is .10.... ten of those is 1.00.... get my drift?

no but I always think I should and start a jar like this

I always do. Loose change adds up after a while.

Oh my goodness, yes. I have zero qualms about picking up a dirty coin. We have soap, hand sanitizers, etc to wash with. Door handles are just as dirty.. you cannot fathom how many people don''t wash their hands after using the toilet or picking their nose, ''adjusting themselves'' who touch door handles. I have observed such with my own eyeballs. Ick. Picking up a coin from the ground is not the end of the world.. lol

Ditto this! I am not afraid of germs anyway

No, I never do. I leave it for a little kid to find. I remember being so thrilled as kid to find money on the ground.

It really does pay to look at the ground while you''re walking though. My husband finds money all the time. Bills, not coins.

Money is money!

I pick up any and all coins that I see. (As long as they are not sitting in some gum, sludge, etc.)

Yes, I would pick it up. I ditto Dragonfly on the 10 dimes is a dollar, so it's worth it to pick it up.

I also take the old motto to heart: "A penny saved is a penny earned."

My husband laughs at me because I also spend wastefully, but in my mind, it all balances out! I gleefully pick up his spare change around the house and deposit them into my trusty tin bank.

Speaking of pennies. I will also pick up a penny, unless it is face down, in which case I will turn it face up so the next person who finds it will have good luck.

Is that nutty?

And, clearly, I have no concern over any germs on the coins. Lol. Ditto to SDL on that.

Yep, me too! My wallet is full of pennies because of it.

Heck yeah. Money''s money!

Absolutely!

I''d notice it because it''s shiny
9.gif
but no I wouldn''t pick it up as all it would do is get lost in the bottom of my purse or clink around the washer because I didn''t take it out of my pockets
