Yes, I have a coin jar that I fill up with spare change and we spend it as pocket money during vacation. I carry hand sanitzer everywhere, so I think it''s safe. It''s not like I''m going to put it in my mouth. What makes the change you have at home any cleaner than that on the street? If I pick it up and spend it, it could be your change and then when you drop it at home, you pick it up.. same difference.

Oh my goodness, yes. I have zero qualms about picking up a dirty coin. We have soap, hand sanitizers, etc to wash with. Door handles are just as dirty.. you cannot fathom how many people don''t wash their hands after using the toilet or picking their nose, ''adjusting themselves'' who touch door handles. I have observed such with my own eyeballs. Ick. Picking up a coin from the ground is not the end of the world.. lol
Yep, me too! My wallet is full of pennies because of it.Date: 10/14/2009 10:18:35 AM

Money is money!
I pick up any and all coins that I see. (As long as they are not sitting in some gum, sludge, etc.)

If it''s in my house, yes.
If it''s in my car, yes.
Probably not on the street though...probably wouldn''t see it.
