I''ve always loved the name Katherine.

Victoria or Scarlett... But I''ve grown to like my name.
Scarlett!!!! I love that, the second I saw the thread title that''s what popped into my head! Bizarre....

I would just change the spelling of my name to something more obvious, pronounceability-wise.

Or Marie. I know it''s not the most exciting of names, but I''ve always felt I could be a Marie. Would go terribly with my last name, though.

Cute thread idea!

I would choose Gwendolyn, of course.

It will be "Julia".

But sometimes I also like "Victoria".

Akhhh I can''t make up my mind.

I love the name Kya, though it is kind of close to my real name, Kara, and if my name wasn''t Kara, mom said it would have been Kirra. I also love the name Arianna, pronounced like are-e-ahh-nah... so pretty

Alexandra?

Sure, why not...

Sounds good to me. Oops, wait a minute little sis got that name - way better than mine.

So let''s see, "Your Royal Highness" has a certain ring to it, I kind of like the way it rolls off the tongue. I bet it looks pretty good on the cheques too!

But I''m realistic, I''d settle for Carla

My real name is Alice. I was never called Alice from birth always Lisa. So I would like to have it legally changed but not sure it''s worth the hassle.. My other favorite name is Sophie. But it doesn''t go with my last name thus didn''t name DD sophie...

Emma or Fleur.

I hated my name as a child because it''s kinda unusual (not an Indian name, so it was very unusual where I grew up) I was very serious about changing it as soon as I turned 18! Love it now, although I love the shorter version of it more. I''m rarely called by my whole name these days, mostly just by people who don''t know me too well.

I''d rename myself Famke, Brooks, or Malain.

I love my real name, too, so I''m happy with Lori.

I''m quite partial to George too - no, seriously!

sophiya

Ruby, Sabrina, or Irena

I was born on December 20th and my mom said she wanted to name me Holly, but her mother told her no. she thought kids would tease me and call me holly berries. So she suckered under to her mother.

I always thought Holly was nice and i would pick Holly today.

Anna-Maya or Isabel

Antionette or Ebony

I think I''m in the minority here, but I would choose the exact same name I have, but spelled the French way. When I was growing up I wished I was named Jessica or Vanessa or a similar three-syllable name, anything that wouldn''t give the other kids any reason to tease me (I was named after a tragic Shakespearean character) but I think the name my parents chose for me suits me perfectly and I can''t imagine being called anything else.

I hope when DH and I have children we''ll christen them with names they grow into and end up loving just like I have ended up loving my name.

krysta instead of kristin (curse you fern gulley for making me feel this way since childhood!)

I''ll go with Emmie

Emma! Or maybe Audrey.

I love that movie!

I always wanted to be Michelle when I was a kid (Full House influence, probably...). I might pick Victoria now, or Audra.

I always loved the name Lisa. I was the only Lori, spelled that way, when I was younger. Now, I have to spell my name over and over again because nobody gets it......they mispronounce it, too.....drives me nuts!

Lori

The names that I like, and would choose to name any future daughter, do not suit my personality.

I think of the names that I like I could best fit with Cassie.

I love the name Amélie though as I just saw that movie. It doesn't suit me though.

I also LOVE the name Lucy - that's on my list of kid names should I ever decide to have one.

I also went to my Graduate school orientation today, and there was a girl named Amelia and I thought it was really beautiful.

or a G.I. Joe fan? That''s where DH first heard of the name.

Maybe Ayla. That was our other choice for our daughter in case we didn''t think she looked like a London.

I really like my name, but there are three pronunciations for it and, well, I always feel like people are talking to someone else.

I think I would choose the name Harmony.
