As a confirmed coloured stoner, I must cast my vote for a lovely sapphire or spinel with side baguettes or a small halo. You would get a lot more bang for your buck and you could wear it as a HRH later.

another reason I am leaning toward the eternity is that if stones fall out I can pretty easily afford to replace them out of pocket. This ring won''t be insured and needs to be worn 24/7 so that it won''t be stolen. And I need enough bling to get me out of my bling deprivation funk that I am in (seriously in a funk, whodathunk? and no I''m not listening to bob marley

) and yet not have so much bling I feel self conscious or inconsiderate of the people who live here. I don''t want to be over the top. That''s why I didn''t bring my ring. I know it wouldn''t get stolen off my hand but I knew it was too big to feel comfortable wearing all the time and I didn''t feel safe even leaving it in a safe at home (heck you can just steal the whole box lol).

Another issue is when I read up on it there have been at least one problem that needed to have this ring remade and I am only going to have like a 1 week window to get the ring and go.

in this case, then I think the 10 pointers will be perfect. i do think 15''s might be more attention than you are looking for and would feel comfortable with. 10 pointers will sparkle and bling but not be over the top or too attention grabbing IMO.
