The one you have (if you have one) and a second one (no budget) what would your second ER look like?

Since I already have an OEC for my ER my second one would be an emerald cut diamond.
I have always found them to be impossibly elegant and sophisticated.
And on my big hands they hold their own in the size I would want.

This is for illustration purposes only. The EC is not a diamond. This is about 8 carats.
The purrrrfect size for my man hands. :)

How about you?
If you could have two ERs please show me what your second one would look like and please also show what you have now so we can see the difference.

I’m with you @missy, I love Bella, but as a back up, it’d have to be an emerald cut. There’s just something so elegant and sleek about them that’s hard to resist.

I’ve posted this before, but I tried on this 10ct+ at Sotheby’s in London, I don’t think it looks too shabby

THUD!!!!
♥️♥️♥️

That looks amazbling on you @Austina. I cannot imagine that looking better on anyone else.
You ROCK it. Pun intended. Swoon!

Do we get a second man too? :Up_to_something:

Here's a super generic picture. Knowing me, setting would be completely different AND I don't really like white diamonds on myself. I would find one oneday with some color. All of my current main stones have notable color to them. ASHOKA-Rings2_Eilte-Web-Feature_725x557-1.jpg

I wish we could have one in every cut/shape.
That is stunning. ♥️

How can you even ask me that?!
I'm having a crisis of choice now.

Aww I'm sorry, but half the fun is in the imagining and dreaming ♥️....
You will figure it out and in the meantime have fun and dream. :appl:

Oh this thread comes at such a great time for me because I’m tossing up two choices myself right now for an ering! So this way I have the best of both worlds!!

I think I would go with an OEC and an EC for my two e-rings. OEC ideally in a lower colour so I can do a two tone flashy ring with some yellow and white accents and a big beautiful EC that faces up white so I can wear it either as a solitaire or a 3 stone with super skinny, barely there tapered baguettes.

It’s funny because before coming on PS I didn’t really like OECs and now I prefer them to MRBs!

I would love an emerald cut..10.5mmx8.5mm!

I've always loved asscher cuts and that would have been my first pick. But I'd need a 5ct one haha because they face up smaller. That would be my alternative to my omc. I do love the contrast and how different it is to my omc.

If I could have a 3rd pick lol then an oec.

Congratulations! Can’t wait to hear about what you decide to pick!

My original engagement ring is a full eternity MRB platinum ring of 3.7+ carats. I live in Northern Europe so this is my perfect go anywhere ring. I recently got a 2.6+ carat OEC, and I love it!! If I could grow a money tree and get a 3rd I’d get an even larger 4-5 carat antique emerald cut.

I'd need a first one...lol

I would want the biggest AVC I could get!!! A bit fat 5ct+ AVC in a Leon Mege setting with French cuts by Yoram going around the whole band….. swoon. I die. A girl can dream right :)

Thank you! Engagement is still a while off though, but thank you anyway :D

we have similar tastes! I also want a big eternity someday, I love OECs and ECs! Love your plans!!

I tried these rings pretty recently and fell in love with both. When I purchase another ring I will most probably choose a fancy yellow diamond or maybe a square cut emerald one. I would be happy with a stone that is 5+ carat:love:.3A3F9865-2EFB-489A-B123-9967FEB45E6D.jpegAC14AAB1-0ED2-431F-959C-EE41AA096922.jpeg

a humumgus princess cut solitar (no halo in sight) in yellow gold sitting on a nice wide band but with a beautiful gallery

and an emerald cut 3 stone with strong art deco vibes ( in a white metal ?)
