Short story: Will an Idealscope show me if a diamond has a good cut without knowing all the angles of the diamond? And how many of you out there actually used one to buy your diamond?
Long story: I just went to my jeweler''s yesterday after months of reading posts and I was really disappointed.

The last diamond I bought from her was three years ago. I had it appraised by a independant gemologist to confirm that it was a good cut diamond, and it was.

I really like this jeweler, the customer service is amazing and I have a long history with her. She''s never given me a reason not to trust her. I''ve bought many smaller diamonds from her in the past but now that I''m buying my dream diamond, a 1ct, I want know know it''s good on paper as well as to my eye.

The current diamond I''m looking at is 1.04 F SI1 price $5500
GIA stats are 6.44 - 6.49 X 4.03mm Depth 62.3% Table 57%, polish and symmetry Excellent
Thanks in advance for your imput!
