I wonder how true this is...

Interesting that he and Lisa Marie are stepping forward to defend MJ now, but were mute during his life.

*waiting for accuser #2 to come forward*

I don''t know if Jordan Chandler really admitted anything and I am not a big fan of MJ, but I always have reserve on MJ''s accusation. I don''t really believe it because most sexual predators (especially child molesters) don''t just stop with one target. Thousands of kids visited MJ''s neverland, somehow only Jordan came forward and there was no other children came forward makes me suspect that this is all about money. The same thing with his 2005 allegation. Sometimes we blame our problem on the rich and the powerful, but in the face of any scandals, the rich and the powerful are easy targets and most would side with the "poor and helpless" and this is another reason why i think it is weird that no other children came forward.

Ditto.

I must say though that I never for a second believed he touched those kids.

I am not one to take sexual predator allegations lightly. With that being said, the first allegation was alllllmost believable to me until his father said that quote. The second accusation was an obvious fake. They thought they could get away with it because the first one was successful. They figured the public would believe them over someone who has been accused twice. And the timing was a little too coincidental--the boy in question was in the Martin Bashir documentary where Michael Jackson admitted to sleeping in bed with kids. It was so very obviously a set up.

Now that this piece, real or not has hit the internet, the major news outlets are sure to follow up on the story to talk to Jordan Chandler themselves. CNN and MSNBC wouldn''t let something like this go. We''ll know soon enough.

If it is true, he will be charged with perjury. I imagine it is a hoax, but we will find out eventually.

I doubt it''s true since they keep mixing up the names of the father and son.

I never thought he actually molested any kids--I think that he got taken for a ride by some greedy, greedy people.

He was just a kid at the time, right? It'll be interesting to see whether the authorities go after him for perjury. I imagine a case brought against his parents would be more easily sustained. I suppose (the former kid) would be guilty of not coming forward after the fact, but since MJ settled, and was never found guilty of the criminal charges.... would there be any basis to bring charges?

As I recall the prosecutor (Santa Barbara County?) was very zealous in his prosecution of Michael Jackson, some would say overly zealous. I wonder if this could lead to a prosecutorial misconduct case? Probably not, although it probably should....

Just musing....

I always thought the case was more getting money from someone who was an easy mark because of his weird ways than it was about molestation. Clearly Michael Jackson identified with children more than adults, in a way that would and probably should raise red flags. But the molestation charges were very fishy.

I''m sure if it''s legit there will be many interviews...however, I have never heard of a child lying about being sexually abused. There is such a stigma and it would be humiliating to have to describe and the emotional trauma of even admitting it has happened would be hard to deal with. I have a 13 year old boy, there is no way I could convince him to lie about something like this, it''s not even possible. Michael Jackson acted inappropriately with children, that much we know(sleeping in bed with them). There was something not quite right with his mind, no matter how talented he was.

Forgive me if I''m wrong, but I believe that the children would sleep in the bed and he would sleep on the floor...and sometimes they would all pile on the bed and watch movies.

That was my undestanding as well.

Who as a parent would let someone who molested their child to go free because that someone gave them a lot of money? If anyone really molested my kids, I would do what I can to make sure that person rot in jail and never able to harm another child again. No money can buy that off.

There are lots of bad parents out there, I personally, wouldn''t let my child spend the night at a mans house. I don''t care if he''s famous, he had no children and wasn''t married, laying around in bed watching movies with any guy wouldn''t be anything I''d be ok with my children doing. Spending the night period at a GROWN mans house is not something a good parent would allow. I think they are horrible parents, I think Michael Jackson was mentally messed up but we will NEVER know what really went on.

I also know that if I was ever accused of something as horrible as MJ was, I wouldn''t give someone money, I''d spend the rest of my life declaring my innocence, not pay it to go away. That''s just me though.

Also, someone said there would have been numerous complaints if he had been a molester. That is not entirely true. I know someone, personally, who was molested and as far as she knows, she was the only one he did that to. People who prey on children have the ability to pick someone they don''t think will tell. Such as someone who''s sick, friendless or with low self esteem.

I feel bad for Michael''s children. It''s hard losing a parent and they''ve got a rough road ahead.

I''ve never believed these accusations. Michael was indeed a troubled, confused mind but never a molester or a violator in my eyes. I seem to recall him mentioning he has never had a proper childhood hence the disney-like castles and all. I''ve always thought that he''s seeing these children as companions and comrades in games and he sees himself as their coeval, as weird as it sounds. He was trying to relive his childhood, or, rather, to experience one. Just my humble opinion, of course. I''ve never perceived him as someone who''d violate anyone.

I know of cases where kids have lied about sexual abuse. My parents are both child psychologists and we know of some people who have had allegations brought against them by mentally challenged kids who just got angry about one thing or another. It does happen, even when money isn't involved, so I don't think it's too much of a stretch that MJ's case was made up too.
