Can’t type. Cath was in right wrist. Have to rest wrist for days: idk the plan yet. Type with left. Right arm and shoulder sore
Exhausted thanks going back to bed.
Dx: constrictive pericarditis. Ejection fraction is 30-35% down from 49% in October. You know how my chart is… I got the results before the doc calls to say what’s going on. Sitting here waiting for someone to get back to me

Ok. I was readmitted on Thursday and discharged again last evening.

I was very confused, lethargic, couldn’t function at all and couldn’t walk 10 steps. I don’t have constrictive pericarditis. I don’t know where I got that from. part of the confusion I guess
I do have non ischemic cardiomyopathy, Ejection fraction 30-35% (not good) but the good news is that they think it could be reversible at this point. I also had orthostatic hypotension so low blood pressure and they also think low boood sugar.
The next step is to make all of my follow up appointments and go from there. Once they put me on meds to increase my blood pressure, I had a complete turn around, like night and day. I’m to keep a daily log of my BP and the hospitalist prescribed me BG testing strips and to keep track of that also and bring to my doc appts.
Thanks for following along and for the well wishes. I’m still exhausted because you know how you can’t really sleep well in the hospital….
I'm so sorry you're going through this! But hearing the word "reversible" must have given you some peace. Do exactly what they tell you. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!
