I think I died and went to diamond heaven today...

I was just at the mall and went to Tiffany''s. For fun, I picked out the biggest diamond they had and asked to take a closer look in the private sales room.

Fellow PSers...I had a 2.79ct D/IF Tiffany diamond on my finger today.

Too bad I couldn''t afford the $173k price tag. EVER.

I KNOW! I went to the NYC Tiffany''s the other day to try on wedding bands and tried on a 3 ct RB in this setting (which I absolutely adore, though it is not really my style).

Unfortunately, no pics...the band was too small for my finger and it would have been a pic or the ring above my big ol' knuckle. Plus, I only had my cell phone camera with me.

ETA: Gorgeous ring, mscushion! The one I saw was the classic Tiffany.

Hmmmmm. I wonder, is this against PS rules (j/k)? Aren''t we obliged to take pictures whenever possible esp. if it is huge yummy bling? Or at least not brag about bling we have seen but not taken pictures of

Oh! I love those moments. I got to wear a 4.5 G/VS2 OEC one time and I about fainted I was so happy.
