Ok all you PSers, I need your help. I saw on the show "Whose Wedding is it Anyways" on the Style Network and neat way to dress up plain ivory table clothS. The designer took 3 pieces of brown ribbon (about 3 inches thick) and placed them parallel to eachother across the middle of the table with a space between each ribbon. Shen then repeated the 3 pieces of ribbon at the middle of the table going perpendicular to the other 3 pieces of the ribbon, and where they intersected she wove one under the other. They then used tall glass vases filled with coffee beans and calla lillies. It was such a neat effect and inexpensive... BUT... I can''t find a picture anywhere! Can anyone help me get a visual of this ribbon effect.

Thanks!

I found a similar picture, but if anybody can find anyother neat ideas to do with ribbon or some arrangements using coffee or cranberries, that would be great!

I remember that episode! Loved it... a very classy look! Good luck!

That is an awesome effect! I love it.

If you''re renting the linens you''ll have to keep in mind that you won''t be able to use hot glue or staples or other attachment devices that could potentially damage the venues'' linens...I''m thinking you could use double-stick tape in this case to make sure the ribbons stay in place.

The pic posted (obviously it''s not exactly the same as the episode of WWIIA) shows either satin or grosgrain ribbon, both of which would be inexpensive enough to do for a large reception (10-15 tables--or more--might cost you $100 or so for ribbon), you could have one of your BM''s set up the whole thing. I think it''s a fabulous idea and one that could be very easily implemented!
