I made a decision about my ring!

Finally! I feel so free!

Some of you may have noticed that I tend to post a lot of threads asking about halos, three stones, cushions etc. etc. etc... always on that elusive quest for complete satisfaction with my ring. Is it worth it to upgrade? Should I be happy with what I have? GAH it is a deliberators nightmare

Well for better or worse, I was in the jewelers a while back and just happened to spy a 2ct diamond in a lucinda style setting and I just happened to try it on...

AND IT WAS PERFECT! It looked amazing and huge on my finger and was everything I dream of for my ring.

So I am saving my pennies for as long as it takes to get a ring just like that. Not a penny spent on any other jewelry, I know what I really want now.

Sigh, I feel much better.

And it would so be worth it

Yes it isa relief!

Really this is such a silly thing, an extravagance, and I didn''t like it taking up so much of my mental energy. Now that I know what I really want and have accepted it, I love my current ring all the more and can be patient until I can get that upgrade I really want!

I think it will be a loooooong time though. We just bought a house -- we get possession on Saturday

-- and renovations take precedence. But one day it will happen!

Hee hee... thanks for humouring this thread. I know this is such a silly thing to think about, and people in real life don''t understand, but I knew you all would!
