I always send an email notification if I deactivate some kind of account that my friends have access to. Although I'm off and on FB right now due to some personal issues, if it were a permanent deal, I'd probably let fellow PS'ers know as well.

As to your password, you can change your password, it will email it to your account, then you can deactivate.

I no longer have access (since I logged out and can't log back in without password) but I'll bet everyone has gotten the word.
It's a small world these days.

I did go through FB's reset password process.
It is supposed to send an email to me but it is not happening.
I waited and did it again and again and now it is telling me I've tried it too many times.
Maybe I'll try tomorrow.
Maybe I'll just forget about it.

I rather enjoy The Kenny Show.

However, I'd say he's a little off base on this whole "I'm inconsistent" bit. Kenny is nothing if not consistent. As are the reactions and responses.

As stated in my OP I started this thread to explain to my 43 FB friends why I left - Yes I left because of a complaint - quite different from how you phrased it, "coming here to complain".
How annoying it is when people twist words to make someone look worse.
Very very common here, unkind too.

Unlike as you posted, PS says they don't want a certain part of FB mentioned because they do not want to be seen as being behind it, and to protect privacy of PS members.
I have acknowledge my mistake after Ella posted, and I apologized, but if you and the lynch mob want to continue . . . "NEXT".
and for the third time I'll state, I should have made a good bye post there. Sorry.
I predict I'll have to type this, oh say, five more times in this thread.
Lynch mobs can't hear much over all the horse hooves and grunting.

Grey perhaps, a very very light grey, but not black.
Many civilians mention their own stuff for sale there.
But the main difference is when you or I sell something it's more like a garage sale.
When pros sell they make money; When you or I sell we lose money.
Totally different dynamic in my eyes and I'm completely comfortable with hanging out in a place where other civians sell to each other.

Huh? How am I "in my way"?
I do not feel impeded in any way.
I left a place that is heading towards soft new-age advertizing and is populated by people who are okay with that.
Everything's fine AFAIC.

Oh BTW, you and everyone else does as he/she pleases too.
If that is to act X instead of Y, well that's what you please.
So we are the same, when it comes to doing as we please.

I've noticed people don't like a person who is not ashamed of being natural.
Shame over what comes naturally to us is one of the most powerful things used to control us and suck money out of us.
Clearly I push buttons - but they're not MY buttons, they are yours.
Maybe some are jealous because they sense they may be living under lots of unworkable made-up rules.

So the thread about pets having their own FB pages and people admitting they have them for their pets and naming the pets that have them...is that thread going to be deleted? For "privacy reasons". Please.

The ONLY controversy in this thread is being created by some (and it is very obvious who these people are based on who snarked at Kenny) people that also belong to that "group" that were somehow offended that he mentioned it here and they decided to put on a moderator badge and address it. Otherwise, there was absolutely nothing even remotely wrong with his post. He didn't like advertising, he quit.

For that he is now shunned? Sad, really.
