I know it''s late...but I could use some job dust.

Could really use some job dust for tomorrow''s interview. Hubby decided at the last minute (10:00 pm when I have to get up at 6am) to tell me about FIL''s conversaton with him about my "overspending" and "bossing hubby around"...because we all know that making an appointment for hubby to get his car brake lights fixed and telling him he needs to be there is bossing him around!

Now I''m so stressed and just want to cry

. I just need to try to relax, get a good nights sleep, and not let this get in the way of my interview tomorrow. Somehow it will all be okay.....

sorry to hear that hubby decided to tell you this right now: how does he feel about your getting this job?

for the record: if i didn''t "nag" my husband would run a car into the ground rather than do any type of maintenance and then go out and do it again........actually, i finally put it on my calendar and sent him an invite so it shows up on both calendars on an going to eternity basis. then i ask him if he did it yet. he''s gotten tired of me asking and now is actually making his appointments w/o me asking......and i have said i''ll take his car for tire rotation at costco IF HE REMINDS ME. i think he''s finally tired of paying for tires because he just would run them into the ground too. i think he also got tired of my mantra that it costs less to service his car than to go out and buy another one.......

anyway, i''m sorry you''re up set and hope you get some rest. put your best foot forward at the interview tomorrow and i wish you luck!

after the interview is over you''ll have time to ask hubby why he brought this up at this time and let him know that it was inappropriate.

How did the interview go, Isabella?

So, it was an internal interview for a job promotion. I started as a banker at one bank (at 19), they wouldn't promote me because I did too good of a job

and wouldn't pay me more because of a salary freeze so I moved over to a different bank as a teller (and starting at a higher pay!). Teller life is so boring, plus my hours were cut, and so I applied for an office job as a new accounts auditor. The interview went well and I know that I caught them off guard with some questions!

In a good way. My boss said that they're very interested in me and have called her twice asking about me

I have my fingers crossed! Oooh, and on an unrelated topic. I won a pair of diamond and pearl earrings from a holiday open house. They called me today to let me know
