Yup.

MRI early tomorrow. Needle biopsy next week. Mamm and ultrasound did not look good. BI-RADS 5.

I’ll find out with the next tests what kind it is and what stage.

I had a few really good, fun, interesting, and beautiful years with my daughter, traveling, jewelry, etc. I guess we only get so many good times here away from worrying or dealing with something unpleasant.

I’ll check back tomorrow (Late Thursday for Americans). Could use the good old PS support now.

I'm so terribly sorry to hear this, monarch. My mom recently beat stage 3 breast cancer which had spread to her lymph nodes. They have so many different treatment modalities these days. Please don't despair... there is hope. Sending you big hugs and best wishes for a speedy recovery. ❤️

Bugger and bugger again.
And another bugger.
The plus side is that today we have treatment and therapy that makes a difference.
It’s a scary journey but it’s doable one day at a time.
My mother, my aunt and my sister have done the journey. My mother and aunt twice. Both are still here albeit a bit battered with bits missing, at 84 and 87 and going strong.
Dont forget about your mental health and seek counselling, it’s just as important as the medical treatment.
Vent here, worry here and be assured we are all sending hugs and healing to you.

This cancer survivor wishes you a speedy and optimum recovery.

So sorry that you are going through this. Agree with others that commented that treatments have come such a long way for breast cancer. It certainly is such a scary time, and the unknown definitely sucks, but I hope that you get answers soon & a solid treatment plan. Sending dust your way!

I am sorry that this has happened! However, like many others, there are many encouraging treatments for this dreaded disease. I send many good thoughts and prayers your way for good answers and a treatment path going forward. You got this!!

your post made me start crying. big ol squishy hugs, I can't even express how sorry I am you're dealing with this.

My heart sank into my toes reading your post @monarch64. Sending good karma your way along with gentle hugs. You've been a member of the PS family for a long time and we'll be here to walk this path with you for as long as you need.

Sending healing prayers your way! My parents are both cancer survivors and the journey sucks but we're here for you!

I'm sorry to hear this, Monnie, but sending you healing vibes. We'll be here for you when you need us.

Monnie! No! I am so sorry. That must be terrifying. Lots of PS support outgoing. And hugs.

HI:

Healing vibes across the miles sista. Cancer is beaten everyday!! My sister had it at 41 (bilateral) and is celebrating her 66 th BD today. I know you'll be in good medical hands and please don't forget that we all love and care about you. Let us know!

Urgh, what horrid & terrifying news for you. I am so sorry that you are facing this, but as others have said, early detection & a solid treatment plan are key. My mother had a mastectomy 2 months ago (she’s 82) & is doing amazing.

You’ve got this. And we’ve got you.
