I fixed the DVD with peanut butter and a coffee filter!

I friend mentioned this to me yesterday. So tonight when my son wanted to watch a DVD that was beyond readable due to scratches, I tried it. It works!!! I just rubbed the peanut butter onto the disk and then cleaned it off and buffed the disc with a coffee filter, and.... voila!!

You can also use toothpaste as long as it isn''t abrasive... :-) The idea is to fill in the little tiny ridges- they also sell ''disk skip fixer'' at the video game stores for like $7 a bottle- works awesome and ants won''t attack your media ;-)
