I don''t know how I did it, but I forgot to put my rings on this morning...I feel naked, like something is missing...

I know what you mean! I''m in a manufacturing plant today, so no ring for me, and it feels so weird to not wear it. I''m actually spending 90% of my time in the office area today, not down on the floor, so I could technically put my ring on .... but it feels awkward wearing a big diamond around when everyone else has a plain wedding ring or nothing. I cannot wait to get my wedding ring so I can always be wearing something!

Oh I hate it when I do that! Ugh.

I would feel the same! Its a rare day when Im out of the house without a watch or jewelry.

Sorry HH, I''ve done that before and I''ve felt exactly the same way. I did that a lot more often when I had micropave settings (I think I had them off more than I actually wore them), but now that I''m on my sturdier, 3rd reset, I have it on all the time, even to bed. At least you know they''re safe at home - hope you and your rings can be reunited soon!

ugh... I hate that!! Especially when part-way through the day when I forget that I forgot to wear them and I have almost a heart attack thinking I lost them!

HH, same here. I forgot to put my e-ring on and didn''t notice until I was already 1/2 way to work. I already got $*** for it from my boss who thinks it''s crazy that I ever take it off. She gave me a lecture on how I''m going to lose it if I keep doing that.

I do have a little pale line there reminding me of where my ring sits though. oh well...

Yea, I know mine is at least safe. It''s sitting at home next to my toothbrush on my little elephant ring holder

I left my e-ring at home in Florida...I''m in Vegas.

I hate when I do that! When I was engaged I had to have prongs tightened on my ring so I was without it for about a week and I felt SO naked without it!! Now I have my engagement ring, plain wedding band, and diamond 7-stone wedding band so I usually always try to leave my plain wedding band on just in case I forget the other rings. There have been times I''m already out the door and I remember I forgot my rings and I run back to put them on just because I hate not seeing them on my finger all day!

This thread is cracking me up. I have yet to forget my ring, though I know it will happen at some point. My mom once forgot hers when she went to a class reunion (without my dad). She went to a tiny farm school, and when she got there, there was only one other person from her class there - a male, recent divorcee, who''d had a few drinks before she got there. From the story she told, it was uncomfortable to say the least.

I''ve only forgotten my rings once and I felt totally weird the whole day. After that, never forgot them again.
I had to resize my e-ring after DH proposed and I was dying without my ring for 2 weeks. Same thing happened when I soldered my wedding band to my e-ring. Another 2 weeks of misery.

The day will fly by and you can put your rings on when you go home!

Only a few weeks after we got engaged (when I had my much smaller ring that I still miss, even now), I forgot it at home after I put on lotion. We were at the bank, and I was admiring the woman''s ring at the counter, when I remembered mine and gasped out loud. The woman and my then-FI both stared at me like I was crazy, and I whined, "I forgot my ring!" I got an eyeroll and a laugh from the husband-to-be, but the woman was like, "Omg, go straight back home after this! Don''t you feel naked?"

Gah, I hate forgetting it. I have only forgotten them one other time, and it was a few weeks ago. I felt terrible and lonesome the whole day.

Red Envelope?

Very likely. It was a gift from my mom and she LOVES Red Envelope!

I hate forgetting my ring, too! When I first got it, there were a few times that I turned around and went back home to get it when I was already halfway to my destination.

When I got my ring sized, I wore another ring (sapphire RHR or my mom''s old e-ring) on my left ring finger so I wouldn''t panic seeing a ring-less finger and thinking I lost my e-ring.

I forget mine from time to time- generally if I''ve been home all day and then leave. I don''t wear them when I''m home. Is it bad it doesn''t bug me that much? I realized the other day I didn''t have them when I was about a block from the house and decided it wasn''t worth it to turn around and get them.

We''re in FL for the week and DH realized on the way to the airport that he''d left his watch and w-ring at home. Somehow I don''t think he''s bugged at all that he doesn''t have his ring.

I know what you mean. I wear my rings to bed because I just don''t feel right without them on. I do take them off when I shower in the AM, but I have been known to turn around and go back home just to get my forgotten rings.

I remembered my rings today, but FI forgot his lunch on the kitchen table. We''re a circus of fools.
