I bought a dress this past weekend. I don''t know if I bought one too soon? The wedding is a year away. I''ve been trying on different gowns at different bridal shops and found this one and I guess it''s been everything I''ve been looking for. This is just a picture from my camera phone so it doesn''t show the detailing of the dress. I just chopped my hair so hopefully it will be long again by next year! What do you guys think? Is there such a thing as buyer''s remorse for dresses?

That''s a lovely, classic look and you really cant go wrong with it. You could get a wide satin sash and tie it either in the back or on the front side, with a vintage brooch for another look, which would be quite Monique Lhullier or Jim Hjelm in style. And if you love it now, better to get it now because David''s changes their styles all the time it seems so you might not find it next year. Looks lovely on you.

Your story sounds so much like mine with the remorse and the hair cut...lol

lovely dress btw

What a beautiful dress. It looks gorgeous on you. You have a darling figure and that dress suits you to a T!!! You will be a very beautiful bride.

Thanks IWPO and Linda.

Here is a link where you can see the detailing a lot better.

I went to 4 different bridal salons and can you believe I found this dress at David's? I was shopping out of town and had an appointment at another place and didn't find anything so I thought why don't I go to David's...and guess what? II found a great dress and bought it! I have to say I do really like it, but I never cried like I hear so many girls do. Does that mean it's not "the dress?"

gg: I think some girls cry and some don''t. Don''t you worry that you didn''t. My daughter had a beautiful wedding dress. She looked like an angel in it. She loved it, but she didn''t cry either... but...... I sure did

OMG

I LOVE IT!!! Totally making me re-think my wedding dress! I can never decide if I love mine or not! I kinda bought mine quickly as well. I mean, I took a week or so and went to 4 different boutiques.. but whenever I see a dress like that I question myself!! I seriously might go to David''s just to try it on (and its only about 5 minutes away from my house!) I ended up with Maggie Sottero''s Irina.. but i love your dress!!!

You should go try it on. It is amazing on! But I also like your Maggie. The dress I bought is very flattering for all body types. So far I don''t have any regrets...I compared it to all the other dresses I was considering but am very happy with this one. Let us know what you decide to do!

There is such thing a buyers'' remorse.

But the dress look lovely on you and is a truly classic look! Congratulations on finding your dress, it really is beautiful.

I love it on you!

It looks incredible on you and the dress is stunning! I think it''s great that you found it now rather than later, now you can focus on other aspects of the wedding.

It''s beautiful and elegant. What a gorgeous shape on you! The detail is just beautiful!

I don''t think you purchased too soon - that''s a definite keeper!

You look amazing in that dress :) perfect choice :):).

Awww...thanks ladies. You guys are so sweet. It makes me feel a lot better about being so impulsive. I really do like the dress, I''m just scared I purchased too soon and I''m afraid I''ll end up with two dresses! J/K I''m not even going to look anymore...that''s how I''ll get myself into trouble. Now I can concentrate on other aspects of the wedding!

I''m in pretty much the same boat as you are, only with a different dress from Davids! We can be strong together until next year, and then we can be very happy that our dress drama was over before it even started!!

Sorry for the delay, but beautiful gown!!

Thanks, my avatar is a pic. of my dog who is no longer that little but he is still pretty small.
Thanks Bee and Bensbride.

Are there brides out there that bought a dress and then found another one later on? Why did you keep looking? I think I might just have to stop wondering about all those untried dresses out there...but somehow I feel as though I should have waited longer just because the wedding is next summer. Hmmm...

But then I realize that I really do like the dress so I should just stop second guessing myself!!
