sunnyd- thanks, the straps were a major selling point cause I had always wanted a Belle dress and needed some sort of sparklie straps to seal the mental picture!

bensbride- I have been to David''s three times now, once with a friend and twice for me and I have had nothing but wonderful experiences. However I did go to the one in Greenville, SC. If I had gone home to the ATL then my experience could have been vastly different! And yes, it is an ivery dress with embroidery in ivory and champagne. LOVE the combo!

pjean- yeah the straps make me drool a bit too, perhaps I should stick a hankie in my cleavage to mop it up on the wedding day!

hopefulheidi- DRESS TWIN!!!!! Yes, I indeed swished the skirt like a bell, complete with ding sound effects. I really love the material too, not your standard satin. HAHA and I''m pretty sure we''re both right on this dress. And of course you have my permission to show the photo, i''m flattered that you think it looks so perfect on me. And that you think they''d have sold more dresses with a picture of me?...

Okay- this is crazy... because I just bought that dress yesterday, too! I went to DB with one of my bridesmaids to look at dresses for them. I wasn''t even planning on looking at bridal gowns, but my friend wanted to look. When I saw this one I just had to try it on- and I loved it! I called my mom and had her come look at it too. We were looking last week at a Paloma Blanca dress that looked a lot like this one and it was $1800. So weird to open up this tread and see you wearing the same dress. I still plan on looking around a little more- since I just starting looking. But since it was a discontinued dress I couldn''t let it go! If I do find something eles I will exchange this and use the money toward BM dresses.

WishfulThinking: Stunning? I''m so flattered. And yes, my experience was so wonderful, all of their dresses are NOT created equal. I tried on some stunners and some really cheap feeling dresses. However, it''s super fun to keep trying them on!
