Wedding I bought a dress!

So I went shopping on Tuesday and I found THE dress. And it needs, wait for it... NO alterations! WOOOOOOOOO. So here she is!

Thanks everybody for the super sweet responses! I am so thrilled with this dress. It is my childhood fantasy brought to life! Now to answer specific questions.

Freke - Yes I bought it at *gasp*

David''s Bridal. It was discontinued and the only one left anywhere. So I slept on it, and went back the next day and took it home with me. After trying on like ten other dresses just to make sure.

indypitty - Yep, I have to say that the top is my favorite part!

choro - Yep the sample was perfect which was a relief because I couldn''t order it, so I took it home.

bee* - I love the straps too, and they came attached to the dress. Which is a relief because I feel so bare in a strapless dress.

Cleopatra - Yes I bought the veil. I love it so much. You can''t tell from the pics but it has a scalloped edge with beads lining it and every now and then there is a tiny beaded flower. It looks like it was made for the dress.

HeadOverHeels - wow stunning? I''m blushing

Courtneylub - yep, it''s really nice not to have to alter it. especially because one dress I tried on was over eight inches too short!

I''m only 5''8. How short do they think brides are? But my dress is the perfect length for my heels and my converse sneakers for the reception!

Congratulatios on finding the PERFECT dress! Its lovely on you! I also went to Davids and had a good experience and felt like I got a gorgeous dress for a reasonable amount of money, so that''s waaay exciting! Is your dress ivory with champagne accents? My dress style is different, but the color scheme is a lot alike, so of course I love it to bits!

I''m not sure I can really offer an unbiased opinion because I BOUGHT THE SAME EXACT DRESS this past December!!!

I''ve gotta say, it looks fabulous on you though and it kicks serious butt that you don''t need to have it altered at all.

Don''t you just love the swishiness at the bottom? Every time I try my dress on I find myself swaying back and forth to see and hear the material swish around me hehe

I really thought David''s was the last place I''d buy a dress from, but when I saw this one, it just spoke to me.

I LOVE having a dress twin! It''s nice to know that someone else out there saw some beauty in the same dress I did. Either it''s actually a beautiful dress, or we''re both wrong. Either way, I''m in good company

With Megs permission I''d love to take her first photo to my seamstress to show her how the dress *should* fit because it looks like that thing was made just for her and yet on my 5''5" frame it sits a bit different hehe (Even with heels on I''m gonna need it shortened)

If they had used a photo like Megs in the Davids Bridal magazine, it probably would have been a whole lot more popular
