How often do you wear your diamond studs?

Those of you who have diamond studs, how often do you wear them?

I just received a pair from my fiance for Christmas, but my mom thinks that I should only wear them for special occasions. I had been wanting a pair for awhile, and I had honestly been planning to wear them pretty regularly - but her comment made me start reconsidering that. I am definitely concerned with losing one, but I also want to enjoy them.
 
All the time. That is the appeal of studs, they go from day to evening and are comfy enough to sleep in.
 
Can you get them insured?

I wear mine about 4 days out of the week (and sleep with them on). When I'm not wearing them, I don't wear any earrings. Mine aren't very big (.82 ctw) so they're good for daily wear.
 
I wear my studs to work everyday. They were a gift so I don't know exactly how big they are but I would guess around .8 ctw.
 
insure them and wear them every day. How else to get your money's worth? ::)
 
I wear my studs everyday and take them out to sleep. (I've had my earrings snag in my sleep and damage my ear).
I don't believe in saving things "for best". I think the more expensive something is, the more often you should use it.

Unless the studs are outlandishly huge, they should go well with any outfit, casual or dressy. If you love them, wear them!
 
I have a pair that are about .4 tcw screwbacks. I go through phases of wearing them because of the screwbacks...If I do put them in I will typically wear them nonstop for a week or two, and once I take them out I will go a while before I put them back in. Because of the screwbacks, I'm not worried at all about losing them while I'm wearing them.
 
Every day. I have them in my 2nd hole in my ear, and usually just change out the first hole.
 
i only take mine out to clean once in a while.

they are small only 0.8 ctw so i sleep in them too.
 
I have about .7cttw and I wear them everyday. I take them out to shower, sleep and clean them but that's it. I'm having earring jackets made to dress them up for special occasions.
 
Just about every day!

I'm always wearing them except when I'm cleaning them or wearing other earrings that accessorize better with what I'm wearing that particular day... I'd say I wear 'em about 95% of the time.

Nearly every day - they don't come off unless I'm cleaning them or on the rare days that I wear pearls.
 
Nearly every day here too, except to clean them. I have 1ctw with a screwback and I am never really worried about losing them.
 
I live in mine. I only take them off to clean or when going out if I want to wear larger earrings.
 
I wear my .5 ctw/plat set in my second holes every day (WG is hard for me to wear daily). I take them out to clean them. They're screwbacks, so I don't worry too much about losing them. I'm planning on getting a 1.2 ctw set soon, too, and I plan on wearing those daily as well. I am in agreement with the PP who said that the more expensive something is, the more you should be wearing it!
 
I wear mine almost everyday, diamond studs are a great classic piece perfect for regular wear!
 
Mine are a bit over 0.8 ctw and I wear them daily. The only time they are out of my ear lobes is when they are being cleaned.
 
Several times a week. I have WG PC studs and YG RB studs. I wear them each about 2 times; the other days are gemstone earrings.
 
I wear mine daily. I have 6 piercings in each ear, 5 of which have a pair of diamond studs. They come out frequently to be cleaned, and if I change them, I just change the first pair to hoops or pearls, and only sometimes dangles.
 
mine are 1.46ctw and I wear them almost every day- at night and even in the shower :) wear them!!
 
Basically every day. When I'm not wearing those, I wear my pearl studs.
 
I wore mine every day until I got hoops, now it's pretty much day about.

I'd insure them, wear them and enjoy them every day. What a lovely gift!
 
Everyday! I think they're .50 ctw, but I adore them and absolutely love wearing them. I really love these studs and think they're a pretty great size, but I wouldn't mind having something a little bigger. :wink2:
 
Mine are 1.4, and I've worn the pretty much every day since I got them ... to the point that I feel almost guilty about neglecting the rest of my collection!

I say insure them and enjoy them as often as you like: if anything, I think wearing studs every day to amortize their cost and using big blingy pieces for "special" events makes more sense!
 
I got my studs (1.25ctw) around October and I think there has been two days that I haven't worn them. One for house painting and once when traveling and I forgot to put them on before I packed my bag. It was a long day before I got the chance to dig them out and put them on!

I say if you have them, enjoy them!!
 
I never take mine out except to a) clean them (which is rare haha) or b) to get the simcard out of my iphone ;D
 
I wear mine 24/7 only taking them out to clean them.. but they are screwbacks so I don't worry about them too much. The last time I took them out, I lost them! Thank God I found them.. I'll be sticking to routine from now on. Most people I know wear them (or fake look alikes) 24/7.
 
I've worn mine every single day since the day I got them four years ago. I love that they go with everything. I never, ever take them off except to clean them.

Why the heck wouldn't you wear them whenever you want? You should enjoy them!

ETA: Mine are screwbacks and insured. I've never worried about losing them.
 
Mine are about 1.5 ctw princess cuts and I wear them every day. I do take them out to sleep, only because they're not very comfortable to sleep in and I worry that one of the prongs might snag and become loose while I'm sleeping. But I do wear them daily, both to work and on weekends. =)
 
My studs are 1.5 ct's; I use to wear them everyday. Now I just wear them on special occasions. I do have them insured but the other day I dropped one and found it after 5 or 10 mins and thought I wouldn't wear them as often because that scared me. I am glad I bought them.
