I am a little confused about your post. Are you selling or buying this ring? I think you are selling. If so, there are some threads that my help you if you do a search. Also, I believe there is a thread in the FAQ forum that discusses selling rings/diamonds that you can check out. You may have better luck with your post if you have admin move it to Rocky Talk instead of the brial forum. Good luck!

You will get approximately 1,500 for it...maybe a hair more.

Jewelers will only purchase a diamond from you below what they could buy the stone for wholesale. Which is why most stores or independents offer trade up policies.

Your best bet, if you''re looking to recoup atleast a decent portion of what you spent, is to sell it privately (which you arent really allowed to discuss on this site, I do believe). Or, reset it into something you will get use out of...a necklace or a ring that isn''t engagement-esk.

Good luck tho, with whatever you choose!

Your best bet is craigslist. Another good option is to sell on consignment with a jeweler.

Don''t expect to get that much for it, though, unless you sell it privately. And if the latter, don''t ask for more than 1/2 to 2/3 what it would sell for new or you won''t find a buyer.
