I tested for son #1 when I was 1 day late... I was a smoker and trying to quit while we were not preventing pregnancy... we weren''t quite TTC yet.

Baby #2... I wasn''t late... I was still BF baby #1... he was only 7m old when I got pg! I took a test because I was showing signs... tired... etc.

I went to Barnes and Nobles to buy a book called the Expectant Father. I planned to leave it in the desk chair since that is the where my hubby drops his stuff when he walks in the door. Unfortunately my plan didn''t work so well because I left the pregnancy test stick on the vanity in the bathroom and he got home much earlier than expected. It''s ok though because we are both excited. I think he is a bit more nervous than I am...but still very happy with the news. Thank you for all the advice ladies! I am still in shock.
