How do you experience waiting for a package?

Drawing from Oneandahalfrock''s post about missed parcels, How do you cope with waiting for something to ship?

I tend to track my packages with packagemapping.com - I find actualy seeing the parcel''s route helps me to know that it''s making progress. I will check my package''s location obsessively for the first 3-4 days, and then sporadicaly after that.

(can you tell I''m waiting on 2 packages - neither of which have tracking numbers - aughhh!! - the agony!)

Does anyone else daydream about little helecopter type parcel delivering robots that would fly directly from the sender to you with the with the package? Like those US army mini unmanned surveilance drones, but for shipping stuff. Each city could have a depot of them - it would be awesome! (I think I''m jacking my own thread).

I check the shipping/tracking number ALL THE TIME!!! I am not a patient package waiter!!

all depends if the UPS or FEDEX guy is cute... JUST KIDDING. I track the hell out of my important packages so I''m sure to be home

I love getting packages. I also enjoy instanat gratification. Usually when I order I choose the quickest delivery method. I can''t stand waiting. I will track constantly. I usually do not wait any longer than a day or two for a shipment. Currently I am waiting for a ring and a bracelet to arrive. I expect them by the end of the week. (the weekend ordering is slowing down my speedy shipments. uurrgghh)
