How do you deal when jewelry is being sent out for repair/remodel?

I sent my ering off to WF as the prongs need to be rhodiumized, and I feel SO lost without it!!!!!! I am also having a quote drawn up to modify my setting a little bit, but that''s a secret.

So how do you ladies deal with not having your most important piece(s) of jewelry on?

Oh, I absolutely hate the feeling! The few times I've had to give me ring in, I'd wear an alternate ring in it's place. Once I wore my wedding band (pre-marriage) and another time I wore another simple diamond ring. Nothing can replace your e-ring, but I feel naked leaving my finger as is! Need a finger warmer in there

Constant reminders that it''s going to be gorgeous when it gets back, plus it never hurts to wear another ring in its place in the meantime.

It''s torture even when you''ve never seen your jewelry before. I have been sitting her waiting for pictures of my pendant and two sets of studs and I feel like a teenager waiting for a phone call from a potential boyfriend. GAH!! It''s a beautiful weekend day and I have a lot I need to be doing, but I just want to see some pictures while I wait for them to get sent to me. I feel your pain, even though I think it would be worse with an e-ring.
