Just a regular ol'' Mr. Coffee 12 cup automatic coffee maker. How do you clean the part where you pour the water in the back? I just looked in mine and wished I hadn''t!

My housekeeper uses vinegar and water.

We run it a few times a week with water only (no coffee grounds/filter).

Soak basket in vinegar, wash and rinse.

Run vinegar and water through cycle in coffeemaker monthly.
