I would never want to go back to the town I grew up in. It's a nice city, and I would recommend for other people to live there, but I guess I feel like I've been there and done that.
I also wouldn't mind moving further away from my parents, because they love to travel and would visit all the time if we lived somewhere cool like the pacific NW. I don't have any siblings either. They're currently 7.5hrs away by car, which is doable, but certainly not close.
DH really wants to stay in the northeast within driving distance of his mom, because she doesn't fly and it would be very stressful if both of her kids moved far away (my SIL is currently in Texas, which is very far). Luckily I love living in this general region or I think I would be resentful that we were tied down here. I love being able to drive to NYC, Boston, the mountains, and the ocean in no more than a couple hours.
