Hello lovely PSers. I call upon your wealth of knowledge once again. I was wondering if any of you have had the pleasure of staying in Sydney Australia and could comment on these hotels?

We are planning on heading up to Northern New South Wales for about 5-7 days for our honeymoon in December

and are going to stay in Sydney (The Rocks) for a couple of nights on the way back.

Therefore we plan on splurging and staying at either the Four Seasons or the Shangri La.

Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

TIA, Honey

Hmmm, Shangri la is sounding great, I have read a few reviews on their cocktails.

We are staying at Shoalbay resort and spa, Port Stephens for 5 days. However, recently I have read some terrible reviews and are terms and conditions are very strict, ie must pay in FULL on arrival and no refunds for early departures, which I find very strange, I have never had to pay in full at any property I have stayed in before.

Anyhoo, I emailed the manager and was very honest, I had read some terrible reviews and we were concerned that our booking is so strict, could we get a refund if we get there and decide it''s a dub, but I havn''t heard back.

I don''t want to throw $1400 down the toilet if it''s going to turn into a crappy honeymoon you know?

Little selfish bump now this thread is in the right area
