How much sexxay lingerie did you bring along on your honeymoon?

We''ll be gone for 5 nights and I''m just trying to plan things out. I''m normally not much of a fancy gal, but I do want to do something nice and surprising

for a couple of nights! The other nights I''m thinking I''ll be wearing a t-shirt and boxers.

I was just having a look at Victoria''s Secret and they have some really cute bridal stuff! I could stock up on "just married" panties, that''s for sure! How cute!

Anyway, was just curious whether you planned for lotsa nights of special, or just a few!

Just don''t let your DH try to rip any of your lingerie off you in a mad moment of fun, because my coworker still bears the scar on her hip when it didn''t work so well. Ouch!!

I got a "Just Married" tank and undies for the wedding night! I just have a feeling that we''ll both be exhausted (reception ends around 11 pm) and needing sleep so that we can fly out on our honeymoon the next morning.

Did you already have your bridal shower? One of my friends got enough lingerie to wear a different "outfit" everyday for a month after hers.

Funny story: She & her DH were virgins until their wedding night and so none of us wanted to get her anything too risque because she was so inexperienced and nervous as it was. The SA at VS showed me some crotchless/nippleless(?) lingerie and I said, "Oh no, I think that''s too much for her...she''s a virgin." The SA replied, "Really? I didn''t know they still existed!" My friend and her DH got a good laugh out of that one! We did get her some edible undies though!

I am so jealous of a 10-night honeymoon! I think ours is going to fly by.

That''s the major benefit of our professions--I''m a teacher and he works for himself, so we could take as much time away as we wanted.

Your honeymoon is going to be wonderful, you are going to be so high on emotion that it really will feel like a dream, no matter how long you''re away!

I guess that means you did some two-fers...good for you honey! I have to remember to take my belated honeymoon and make sure I stock up on "outfits"...

Well - not all guys (including this one)are crazy about lingerie AND a lot of the lingerie people may consider "sexy" can be just plain ugly, over the top and/or look trashy. So before you buy 20 outfits, make sure your husband really appreciates it and that he shares your taste! I am more part of the "how quickly can I take it off" camp

. But I am sure that you have already figured that part out. In any case, have a wonderful honeymoon!

My FI LOVES lingerie and I am mostly a cotton panty girl, so I definitely have some fun stuff.

We are not able to do a honeymoon, but for the wedding night, I have a real, steel boned corset as Victorian looking is his favorite. I love nice corsets though, so I may be more excited than he is.

My FI is NOT a lingerie man at all. I showed him a few things I though were adorable (including a really really cute white/light blue "french maid minus the hat and the feather duster) and he said, eh, it''s alright. So, now, as horrid as this sounds...when I buy stuff...I think of what my mother would wear (she''s in her 40''s and probably doensn''t even own a thong, but she''s not so old fashioned she wears the high collared neck nighties!)

And low and behold...the one I bought and hate the most....is his favorite! I suppose I really shouldn''t care if he likes it but nothing from VS trips his trigger if you know what I mean.

I''m jealous of all of you taking a HM. We''re not doing one at all because I''m in school and he has to get back to work

Oh well, I suppose when we do take one, we can just make it longer!

Honestly, our honeymoon sounds so exhausting that I don't know if sexy gear would get much, if any, use.

Funny, we are approaching our 1 year anniversary on Monday and I just turned around to ask him if he liked all of the lingerie that I wore on the honeymoon (and still wear on occasion) and he replied "I liked it alot, but I always prefer you naked". So there you have it girls, they really don''t see the flaws like we do (and it needs to be noted that I am not a size 6, more like 12/14)!

So, pack your lingerie! Its your honeymoon, get crazy and have fun!

All of you who had lingerie showers - I have never heard of that - that''s really neat!

I told D last night that I had purchased a couple of "fun" outfits for the honeymoon, and he smiled for about 10 minutes straight

I guess it's all up to what your guy likes. My FI just likes nothing at all, so when we've gone on vacation, all my lingerie sat in the suitcase unused. Not that there was anything wrong with that. Now I just save the space and pack more bikinis.

If you're not sure what to get for your HM, maybe make a little field trip together and have him pick a few things out.

You: "Hey honey, can you come with me to get some stuff for the wedding...?"
Him: [GROAN Roll eyes back. Sigh really loudly]
