So I''ve been going out with my girlfriend for a little over 5 years now since high school. When college started we went to 2 different schools in 2 different cities which was a little difficult but we made it work with a webcam and chatting and calling alot and it wasn''t that far(only like 100 miles). The problem now is that we are about to graduate and she is going to graduate school even farther and it is going to really test our relationship because she will only be coming down 3-4 times a year as compared to every other week or so. We know it can work and will be waiting for eachother to finish school to get married. She''s been bugging me a really long time for a ring(not an engagement ring though) to put on her finger but I''ve always been like
but this would be a great time to get her one and I NEED YOUR HELP!
I want to get her a promise ring or what she refers to as an engaged to be engaged ring lol which is just a promise that we will be there for eachother and when we both get out of school that that is when we will get engaged and be together for the rest of our lives! I''ll be giving it to her soon as a birthday gift and congrats on graduating and getting in kind of thing.
Now I know this is of course a diamond forum and I want some fancy little diamonds on the ring but it''s not like this is an engagement ring. I just want something pretty for her that she will love and be proud to wear. I''m thinking about a white gold ring with one set diamond in the middle with little ones around it. The problem is that we are both broke college students and she understands I''m not rich and can''t get her alot of great stuff and I am looking to spend around $250 more or less if possible
I have a lot of research ahead of me I can see but I thought I would introduce myself to you guys and see if I could get any feedback on where I should be looking online and stuff especially since alot of stuff this forum is about is grand diamonds on grand ring settings.
