I have a friend who is in her 30''s but looks about 18. The only thing that has aged on her is her hands, but the only person who ever noticed was a co-worker of mine; the kind of guy who was always looking for someone to date. He knew that trick too. I was just noticing this morning that my hands are starting to look older.

Apparently my hands show my age better than the rest of me!

I''m 26 DF-very good guess though-most people who see me think I''m 19-21...Which is hard to deal with sometimes, flattering, but still hard to deal with.

I have these Fulton/Albrecht hands. Long and thin with yukka veins.

lol In a way, I am comforted in having ''older'' hands because I am glad to have something of my Mom''s I can remember of hers.

That is the sweetest thing I have heard in a long time.

I once knew this lady who was like 60, but I swear she had hands that looked like she was 15. I once asked her how she kept her hands looking so young and she said "Plump honey, you have to stay plumped up!!"

SDL I often look at my hands and think how much they look like my Mam's. It's a very comforting thing. Even more so because of a story my Mam told me once. Long ago, before I was even born, my Mam walked up behind my Granny who was sitting in a chair, and put her hand on Granny's shoulder and asked her would she like a cup of tea. Granny screamed the house down in terror because she glanced at the hand and thought it was her own mother come back from the dead! Poor Granny! But I love the idea that if my hands look like my Mam's, and hers look like her grandmother's... that link down the generations... it's a lovely thought.
