how have you been?

In a word... stressed! Was worried about work and a post-merger pay re-alignment but I can stop worrying about that now. After working a marathon 29 hours straight, I took a quick escape to Key West for some diving and rest. I wasn''t 24 hours into a 48 hour trip when I got the news that our contract at work was out-bid and I was out of a job. Guess I don''t need to worry about the pay re-alignment now!

I came right back from FL and got hired on by the new company (same desk, same job) so life is better now. I just need to get through all the paperwork stuff, benefit stuff, 401K rollover, etc. Work is going to be crazy for the next few months. Throw in wedding planning and a bunch of other stuff and I''m a wreck.
