hi everyone! i am thinking of adopting a second dog. bf and i have a 16 month old german shepherd/beagle who i think would LOVE a new playmate. i think we will foster her first, and then consider straight up adopting her. there are two that i absolutely adore and can''t choose, so PSers, help me out please!

puppy 1: Brindle. she''s so cute! she looks completely different from our puppy bailey and she''s just looks so precious! 6months old, 15lbs. crate trained, almost house trained

puppy 2: Lady. she is the one on the left (all tan) - also very cute! another german shepherd/hound mix. she looks like bailey but is all tan rather than mixed-colors. 6 months old. crate trained, not completely house trained. we like german shepherd mixes because the dogs tend to be smarter without the huge size of pure shepherds.

both are rescues, and we''re ready to take on the challenges of a rescue (bailey came from the same organization as these pups). we have a very loving home, and we really loved raising bailey. help me pick! what do you all think?

Thank you so much for rescuing your pups!

I would definitely bring your Bailey in and have her interact with these two to see if she gets along better with one of them. They are both adorable, it is too hard to choose one. Adopt them both!

Ditto Haven! I want to hug you for rescuing and hug both those pups! Haven is right that you should see how Bailey interacts, but I have to say Brindle''s face made me really really want another pup.

Ok, so of course, you want to see which dogs personality will mesh up well with your current dog.

But HELLOOOO Brindle! I don''t even usually like brindle dogs but that is THE CUTEST FREAKING DOG EVER.

aww thanks guys! good idea about visiting them with bailey. i didn''t think of it cuz bailey has never had a problem getting along with other dogs.

to make it easier, and provide cute canine eye candy, the pics of brindle and lady are below.

I have the perfect brother for your guys....look at that face....

And, yay for rescuing these little ones!!!

can''t help you either, but just wanted to say Brindle is sooooo cute!!! awww and gotta Ditto Haven on having Brindle interact with the pups and then decide

They''re both soo cute! This is going to be a hard choice! Personally, I kinda like the brindle more since she looks smaller but if size isn''t a problem then either of those beautiful pups would be perfect! I guess the biggest thing is going ahead and seeing how your Bailey deals with either of the puppies and go from there! If you can''t have them meet, then see which of the 2 would have a personality that would compliment your current pup. Good luck with your tough choice!

brindle!
If we''re going on cuteness factor alone...brindle is working it out for me dog!

AWW they''re both so cute! I agree about seeing which one gets along better with Bailey. Yay for adopting dogs who need homes! I''ve got three rescues myself:)

Bless you for rescuing! I say let your current pup make the decision - introduce her to both, and see who she has better "chemistry" with
