I like the first one! The second one looks more generic to me.

Then again, it really comes down to how they look ON you. Any pics?

They wouldnt let me take any photos

I'm with Indy (again

). I LOVE the first one. The second one is nice but doesn't really do much for me. But I'm not the one wearing it. Any chance you could sneak pics if you try both on again?

Without seeing them on you I can''t say that either have the "wow" factor but I do like the first one better. I actually really like the shawl thing.

I prefer the first one also. I''m not too fond of the top of the second one.

I''ve seen both in person which is why I prefer the Water''s gown, it''s generally very flattering and comfortable and well made.

Just from the model pics I prefer #1, but agree w/ Indy - definitely have to see how they fit YOUR body, as that would be the deciding factor I think.

#1! Don''t like the top on the second one. But maybe IRL it''s so much better...

I''m with Gypsy...I really love the second one! In general I love lace, so it really surprises me that I picked the Watters and Watters dress.

thanks for all your help ladies!! They both fit really well so it makes the choice so tough. The reason I am hesitant ordering the first dress was because they only had white/light gold sample in the store and I want to order white/white colorway. Therefore I wouldn''t be able to see the actual color until after I order the dress...which scares me a bit! Already called around to a bunch of bridal stores and no one has the sample in the colorway I want.

I''m going to see if I can sneak some pictures next time I go....I hate the no picutres policy

Those two dresses look fairly different to me, which makes me wonder why you''re stuck. Not to be devil''s advocate, but could it be that you just haven''t found the right dress yet?

Can you say why you like each dress? Does one of them look better but one of them fit your idea of what you want more, or something like that? Is it just the colourway that''s keeping you from ordering #1, and #2 feels like a safe choice?

I''m fishing here.

hi pjean....thats part of the problem because they are so different....I am a Gemini though (dual personality) so this happens a lot! Haha! Dress 1 is more trendy/glitzy and Dress 2 is more classic which kind of fits with my dual natured personality. I would be happy to walk down the isle in either and after trying on about 20+ dresses I keep coming back to these two...

Dress 1 (price $750)
love the back!
love the scallop edging at the bottom
love the neckline
hesitant because I cant see white/white colorway until after i order the dress
concerned it may be too flashy/glitzy for my wedding/style
Fabric is satin...not sure if this will photograph well

Dress 2 (price $1350)
love the neckline
love the wrap bodice and pleats it makes my size 8 waist look like a 4
love the fabric...silk shantung I believe so the white is a softer white.
price is almost double the 1st dress
its a bit heavier fabric, so the dress is a little heavier. (but we are getting married in october so the weather will be about 60 at night
Classic but maybe a little boring?

That''s a rather humoungo price difference.

If I were you, and I was truly torn, I''d pick the one that costs half and use the $600 toward a blingy wedding band or a pair of gorgeous studs. So think of it as "Dress 1 comes with free diamonds, Dress 2 doesn''t." If you see what I mean!

I have a soft spot for Maggie dresses and I considered that first one for myself. Plus, tie that corset the correct way and your waist will look like a 2!!!

Without seeing them on you I vote for the first one, but agree with Irish that neither really have the wow factor just being modelled by the model.

I really like the second one. It has a really nice sleek, clean look to it. Both are very eleagant.

DITTO! Great advice.

I think #2 seems more elegant. But I am definitely biased because I''m not really into corset backs. So #1 would be better for me without the corset.

But still, I vote for #2! Let us know what you decide :)

Hmm. Well, given what you say above, I think I''d go with #1. It strikes me as a very romantic dress, not so much as a flashy dress. So I don''t think it''s going to be over the top for a more casual wedding, if that''s your concern. (Besides, you''re the bride. You''re allowed to be breathtaking.)

Between the model pictures and the pictures of the 3 real brides they post, it seems as though it photographs pretty well. The detail on the dress gets lost in one of the real pictures, but I had to look closely, because all you see is a lovely bride in a flattering dress, not that the dress is/might be washed out. But I think you might start another thread asking PS brides to post their wedding pictures in this dress if you''re still unsure, because it sounds as though there are at least a couple of people here who wore it.

It sounds to me as though based on what you actually saw, you like #1 better, but based on what you think *might* happen in the future, you should go with #2. So go with #1.

My $0.02. Bottom line, they''re both gorgeous, so you can''t really get this wrong. You could always flip a coin...

I think both are pretty, but they are VERY different looks.

#1 is a pretty gown, and it seems to look very nice on real life brides in the photos. I''m not wildly fond of the lace up part in the back (it doesn''t seem to go with the rest of the dress), but that''s just based on the photo. It may look pretty in person.

#2 is also very pretty and a little unusual to me. Plus, you say it makes your waist look tiny. It sounds like you feel really good in it. Maybe your concerns about it being boring would melt away once you had it with your accessories.

What type of wedding are you having? Perhaps one matches the overall feel of the wedding better than the other. What sort of bridesmaids dresses/grooms clothing do you like?

Number 1 gets my vote. It''s beautiful, elegant, and costs half the price of the other one! I''m also just not crazy about the top on #2.
