Wedding Help me decide on favors

Please help me decide on favors!!
FI and I have decided to do donations as favors. However, as I began thinking about how to do this (whether to put a note at each setting or one note on each table, etc), I thought maybe it would be nice after all to have a small favor also.

We are going to do either these little boxes or little jars filled with candies (maybe m&m''s or jelly beans, mints, or something). Although I know most people are not too fond of edible favors, we are trying not to spend too much on this since we are also going to be donating about 800.00, so that is already a pretty large expense. I figured I can do these for maybe 1.50 or 2.00 each, so it is not too bad.

Here are the two "contenders":
1) ivory colored box with a brown ribbon. Attached will be a little "scroll" of paper to each one explaining the donation
2) little candy jars. to this I would attach some raffia in a bow and also the little "scroll" explaining the donation. The sticker on it would be changed to match better with my colors.

I don''t really have set colors, but the wedding is in Oct. and so far the colors seem to be ivory, burgundy, green, chocolate. FI and I both like these but are leaning towards separate ones so I hope you will help us decide!

I like the jar is really cute, but would personally just go with the cheaper option. As a guest, I don''t really care whether a favor comes in a "fancy" package, I am more into what is into it. They are both going to get thrown out when the candy is gone anyways. If they are similarly priced though, I would definitely choose the jar.

I like the jar, but those stickers can be pricey. The box is similar to what I am doing and it was very inexpensive once I finally found the right vendor...

Okay, so far it looks like the glass jar. I like that one!
As far as the paper scroll........I saw this at one wedding I was at a few years ago, but don''t kow if there is a certain paper that would be better then another. I am thinking something this is better then regular paper. Any ideas?
