Oh, I am a fashion disaster. I have no shoes, no veil/hair accessories, no jewelry....I have no clue what would look good.

Here is my dress.

ok, the model has on pearls...but I am not sure how dated that looks (as I said I know nada about this stuff)

model in dress

So, help me dear friends.

***note:

Shoes must be 2 3/4 to 3 inch heel for the dress to be the appropriate length.

Nothing super trendy or big on the jewelry.

Thanks!!!

Do you know what type of budget you''re looking at? That would be helpful for us so we could piece together something feasible instead of just anything that would look good. Beautiful dress by the way!

Let''s say $500 total...is that to cheap of me? Thanks IndyGirl22

Skip out on the necklace and go with just earrings. The neckline of your dress is fabulous in itself, and I''d be afraid a necklace would distract from it.

If you do a necklace, I would do a simple, round, single-strand of something with crystals in it. I love this website because a lot of their stuff combines crystals and pearls, and you can choose your colors. I would pick something like this for you: amy''s bridal accessories

I like that site. My dress is pretty sparkly...I am not sure if that would be a kinda "something and nothing" type piece.

So torn...

That''s what I was thinking, too... unless you''ll be wearing your hair down? I may be weird, but I prefer earrings with an updo and necklace(s) with a down...do?

I personally think your neckline needs a little bling & judging from the sparkliness of the dress, you like bling, correct?

There is a lot of skin between your neck and your dress so maybe putting something there would make you feel better too...I don't necessarily think that you have to wear pearls. I think the pearls on the model look out of place actually. I would suggest something like this or this. A circular, rounded shape with not dipping down towards your neckline too obviously, but still leading the eye to the V. I would also get dangly earrings like th ones pictured in that set. I don't know if I would get this particular set, but it is lovely and I envisioned what I would like to see with your dress THEN scoured the net for a minute trying to find an example so you get the idea of what I'm talking about. This is assuming you are going to be wearing an updo. Otherwise, the earrings would probably need to be simpler. That site has some lovely sets and are very inexpensive so you can splurge on shoes or your veil, etc. I will begin your shoe search soon haha

Also, any preferences for the veil & shoes? i.e. length, detail, etc.? i.e. open-toed, strappy, etc.?

I want something feminine, strappy and won''t sink in the grass.

As far as a veil I like the one that modernsparkler posted in my other thread.
Veil

I want something like... this

but between a 2 5/8 and 3 inch heel.

That''s funny, I have been looking for this in my size...most of the places I looked at said it would take 12 weeks.... Wedding is in 11 weeks and 6 days...

Haha great! It sounds like you would have enough time to exchange them if you had any fitting issues - I think they are so pretty! Are you having an updo? Any pictures of what your hair will look like (rough idea?) (I am at work but I cannot get motivated so I am living vicariously through you shhhh!)

I second IndyGirl''s necklace suggestions and especially like the first one she linked to.

My 2 cents! :)

I''m a big fan of White Aisle for accessories: White Aisle

I think a simple strand of pearls would be lovely with your dress, but I think all brides should wear pearls! But, that''s just me!

Have you decided how you''ll wear your hair? Any ideas on type of hair accessory?

lol, hair let''s see.

Are you planning on fastening the veil above the "poof" of your hair? I don't think you necessarily HAVE to have any hair accessories, but I do love the flower-inspired combs on this page. They would be pinned on the side of your poof though, and I don't know what type of accessory you are going for in your hair. If you want something more subtle, this page is from the same website and has some pins your hairdresser could incorporate into your poof. Let me know if you need more ideas or have an idea in a different direction. If you put the comb on top of your poof it would be a pretty accent to your veil until you take it off and then stay on for the reception if you are taking your veil off.

ETA: I posted before your other ideas for your hair! Either way, I think a comb would look lovely...not as drastic as a tiara but still some bling and accessorizing for your hair.

Eva's my fave so far!

I think Eva''s hair would look fab on you!!! Also, Scarlet16, posted some beautiful earrings and hairpins in one of her threads and I think those would look beautiful on you! You are so pretty!
