Hi Ladies,

This isn''t for my wedding, but since i am a PS lover i thought i would try to help her out by asking advice from the pros! Below is her dress and it just looks divine on her! She is wondering a few things:

1) what type of veil would go with this dress? She is thinking of having her hair 1/2 up and the ceremony will be in a church ...suggestions please?
2) Her dress will be the champange color shown and her other accent color and bridesmaid dresses will be a chocolate brown with some wine accents. What color of tuxes do you think would go well and the groom is a "metrosexual" and is proud of it so the tuxes/suites could be a bit fun!
3) her theme is vinyard

Let your creative mind flow ladies, she is open to the ideas of pretty much anything. Thanks again for your superb help, it is appreciated!

WOW! That dress is incredible! My FI is also slightly metro and he loves the idea of having a light (khaki-ish) suit with a bold shirt. I think a light khaki suit with either a wine shirt or a brown shirt would look really sleek. I can't give you advice on the veil though. I have no idea there!

Can you tell me who the designer of the dress is? I love it!

That dress is so elaborate that I''d suggest a birdcage veil.

For the groom, the combination brown and black together is very chic. Perhaps a black tux with brown vest tie. Or the groomsmen could wear that combo, and the groom could wear a champange vest/tie to match the bride.

Or the groom could do black and wine.

Marsh- I too really like the birdcage look. Especially with that dress since it is so sleek. Good suggestion about the groom wearing the similar color vest.

Izzy- that is a great idea to have them wear a darker tan suit instead of a actual black tux. i mean there are alot more people doing that, i wonder if she even has thought about that...

anymore ideas please keep em coming!

I wouldn''t do a tan suit, because then the groom does not look as formal as the bride, with that beautiful dress and silky, shiny fabric. That''s also why I like the birdcage, so as not to distract from the gorgeous dress. You want them to have a similar level of formal-ness in their attire.

that dress is fantastic! i think the flowers she''s wearing in her hair look amazing, so i might ditch the veil all together and go with something more like that!

thank you for your replies!
although i am not sure she will go for the no veil. I personally dont think it needs it either, but if it is an absolute must, what would you do?

if you can think of any other fellow PSers who have had similar color scheme so i can direct her to those links it would be appreciated.

I third the birdcage veil. But if she REALLY wanted a long/longer veil, I''d say elbow length with no embellishments. You really don''t want to take away from the dress.

I''m not sure what color, I''m assuming they''d have an ivory or champagne colored tulle.

The birdcage veil would be beautiful and perfect!! I''m going with a birdcage veil and I love the look! I got one custom made from this site: http://www.unveiledbridaldesigns.com/index.html
