Wedding Hello lovely ladies!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have so been missing in action!!!!!!!!!!!!!...I don''t even know if I should even try to catch up...LOL

So how are you guys??? I miss PS!!! I just have been so busy!! Work (I may be getting a promotion..not sure if I should cry or celebrate...haha), decorating the house (definitely not as much fun as wedding planning was for me!), getting settled into ''married'' life and trying to figure out a new routine up here (I moved to where DH lives...which is about 70 miles from where I was living before we got married).

I will now try to catch up a bit

Haha yes, engagement chicken!!! That always makes me laugh, not sure why. Hehe. But anyway it''s going pretty well. I have jewelry and shoes and my dress, veil, and tiara are all coming in next month. We have a venue for ceremony and reception (catering is with the venue), photographer, we mailed the check for videographer, mailed the check for musicians, and started save the date process! Woohoo looks like more than I realized wow!

Aww, thanks for thinking of us! Yep, one month from today (exactly) and I''ll be a Mrs. It''s funny, I had to renew my teaching certification and when I filled out the paperwork, I signed it using my married name. I figured, by the time the paperwork goes through and I get my new certification in the mail, I''ll be married, so why not? It looked funny though, I have to admit. I''m sure it will just take time to get used to.

I had what I thought was my last fitting this week but one more thing needed to be done (a little more hemming). I''ll pick my dress up on July 1st. We''ve gotten back all of our replies, and we''re having 123 people at the wedding and 40 at the RD. I''m in the middle of writing out thank you cards for my showers right now, and we''re going over the seating chart. A few little things to do but we''re getting there.

Haha, yeah I guess we kind of are on a roll and the bank account shows it...ouchies!!

Our videographer was so nice and split it up into 3 payments for us so we could afford them. I felt so embarrassed to even have to ask, it's just we had just paid 50% to the photographer and someone else was looking at our date so we had to book now or we might lose it. But anyway, so I guess we have left: DJ (I've found one, but need to book and pay deposit), person to officiate (I think I found a few options, but need to narrow it down), cake, florist, bridesmaids dresses, guy-wear..haha..tuxes or suits not sure which but probably tuxes, wedding bands, do our e-pics with photographer next fall, my bridal session need to one at venue and i'd like to do a portrait sessions next winter with a studio, pick out food (can't do that until like feb of next year), and honeymoon (ouch that is going to hurt financially). I think that's everything..at least I hope it is.

ETA: Oh and invitations, need to design those. Oh my and you know on top of all this FI is talking about trying to buy a new car?! I'm like...uhhh with what money. My parents are paying for about 80% of wedding, but still we're putting out a lot as well.
