Ladies, it''s been a whirlwind. My boyfriend (sorry, fiance) popped the question today on Easter Sunday while I was home enjoying the holiday with my family. He knew how important my family is to me and shortly after he and his mother and other relatives arrived at my parents home for dinner (some of my close relatives were there), he asked to see my old room. By then, I was still thinking it wasn''t going to happen because I didn''t see a bulge in his pockets and had given up hope that he''d do it this weekend. He knew I didn''t want a public proposal in front of family so I figured, "it''s just not going to happen because my family''s here." So even though we were in my room alone I was still oblivious to everything and kind of just trying to let everything go. So I started putting away a jacket in the closet and when I turned around, he was down on his knee and just plainly asked, "Will you marry me?" He''s a very romantic guy and says lovey dovey things to me everyday, leaves notes around, etc. so I really had no clue what he''d do for the big moment. It was so lovely especially since we had a chance to celebrate with both of our families after and it was just perfect.
