Are you back from your honeymoon? I see you posting on other threads. I do believe you promised more pictures and details of your wedding

I''m back, you got me Pocahontas! I couldn''t stay away from PS for very long!

We came home around 11 PM yesterday. St. John was INCREDIBLE! I understand why nearly everyone we talked to was there on a third/fourth/eight trip to the island. We have tons of photos but my computer keeps shutting down on me when I try to export them from iPhoto so I can post them. A few have exported each time I''ve tried, so I''ll post those in this thread.

It really was a dream vacation. The resort (Westin) was amazing, the people were so friendly all over the island, and we visited some other really beautiful places, too.

We haven''t gotten our wedding pictures back yet, and I am eagerly awaiting the video, as well. You KNOW I''m going to post LOADS of pictures when I get them, of course!

This is me on the ferry from St. Thomas to St. John. I wore my "bride" tank from my bachelorette party on the flight there, I couldn''t resist!

Another picture from the ferry.

We went on a two-mile walk hosted by a Westin resort employee our first morning there just to get a feel for the island. Here''s a view from the walk:

It was so hot and it was only 9 AM, I couldn''t believe it!

My hubby and me:

We ate like kings. This was at a great little place called Da Livio, owned by an Italian family who came to St. John just last year. The lobster ravioli was delish!

Okay, more photos exported than I thought, so this should be good.

We rented a JEEP to drive around the island, so we took this one at an overpass.

I think this is Trunk Bay, it's probably the most touristy of all the beaches on St. John. It's really beautiful, though, and it had decent snorkeling.

ETA: NOPE, that's not Trunk Bay, Trunk Bay has a little island out there. I don't remember which bay this is.

So cheesy, I know. We spent some time on the beach at the Caneel Bay resort, which was gorgeous and practically empty, so it was really nice. I HAD to write our names in the sand somewhere!

I love the way our reflection in the JEEP is so clear in this picture.

We were goofing around with the camera. See how shiny we are--it was HOT on that island. I''m usually not that tolerant of heat, but I was okay there.

Howie saw a resort employee chopping coconuts out of a tree, so he asked him for one and then the employee cut it open for him with a machete. It was delicious.

They had three gorgeous birds on the resort, this one is a five-year-old named Esmerelda.

Those are the only pictures I have for now! We went to Jost Van Dyke and Virgin Gorda in the BVI and they were really incredible. I have some great pictures in the baths at Virgin Gorda. I promise I''ll post them when I can get them out of iPhoto, Pocahontas!

Basically, we ate a lot of really good food, snorkeled a ton, swam in some of the most beautiful beaches I''ve ever seen, and met a lot of really wonderful people. Oh, and I drank my share of pina coladas, which I never drink at home but just couldn''t resist.

AND I found a first edition of Amy Vanderbilt''s Cook Book and a first edition of an antique book about collecting books (I couldn''t resist that!) in a little antiques shop in St. Thomas. What more could a nerd like me ask for?

It looks like you guys had a blast. St. John looks incredible. Perhaps a 1 year anniversary trip could be arranged :) Congratulations!

Welcome back, Haven! I was in St. John a long time ago (by myself) and I loved it. Looks like you guys did too!

Are you guys all moved in/unpacked in your new home?

. I saw that you went to Jost Van Dyke and Virgin Gorda and I had to respond! Did you go to the Soggy Dollar Bar? Wasn''t it just an amazing place?! And the Baths...could they be any more beautiful? I have been back a few times and never get over how fabulous they are. Anyway, you look like you had a wondeful time, and you make an adorable couple. Congrats!

Haven, your honeymoon looked like it was so much fun, and you and your hubby are so incredibly cute together! Can''t wait to see even more pics!

Oh Haven, I am SOOOOOOOOO GLAD you had such an amazing time in St. John...it truly is my favorite place on earth!!!!!! I hope you saw plenty of dolphins and sea turtles....did you go to Gecko''s Gazebo or Mongoose Junction??? We always used to go there and get food and drinks after a day at the beach and look around the shops...i bought some really beautiful mosaic glass pieces.

Seriously, I am GREEN with envy!!
