Does imagining how I strangle, beat up and kick the hell out of my colleague who just wouldn''t stop rambling and jabbering count as bad?![]()

I work as a hostess in a resturant, and after a couples chooses where they want to sit THREE SEPERATE TIMES AND MOVES EACH TIME....it makes me want to do the same thing! I mean...you picked the first table...and the second table...WHAT IS WRONG WITH WHERE YOU PICKED THE FIRST FEW TIMES!?!?!?!?
Yes, I agree with Deb that having fantasies, per se, even "desires", is not a "bad thing" (and in fact, rather, quite a HUMAN thing)... buuuuut, the danger lies (IMHO) in acting on them, if the opportunity arises.Date: 6/4/2009 10:29:43 PM

Horrible vs. bad:
Horrible;
cheating on spouse, SO
murder (that can be proven)![]()
knowing you can't live with a decision you've made
Bad;
punching someone in the face (bad but perfectly acceptable)
putting a spider in someone's bed
calling someone a b!tch while waiting on her at a store
fantasizing of cheating on SO
Boy, do I disagree with this! I don't see having fantasies as a bad thing. I think that actions can be evil, but that thoughts-unless acted upon-are neither bad nor good. They are grist for the mill. They are something that can be analyzed. I just told my daughter today about the famous quotation that an unexamined life is not worth living. I think, therefore I am!!!

Well, I'll tell you. Your restaurant was freezing cold and my husband and I felt like walking out the instant we walked in, but we had already driven a long way to get there. We thought that the first table looked like a good spot, but as soon as we sat down we raelized that everytime someone came in the front door an icy blast from outside hit us. So we thought we would try to move away from the door. We tried a table at the back, away from the door. As soon as we sat down we realized that we had made a big mistake as we had picked a spot under some weird kind of vent that sent chilly gusts of air down from the ceiling!!! We had no idea why a restaurant would keep the temperature so low (except to save money...but at the expense of losing customers), but we thought we'd give it one more try and and look for a seat where there wasn't an arctic blast!

Hmmm, well my take on it is that it''s okay to fantasize about George Clooney or someone else ''unattainable'', but if you''re having fantasies about Scotty Hottie that sits in the cubical next door to you, it might lead to something not so good. I think people can almost send out signals to others that they are interested and if the person on the other end is too, it could lead to more than just fantasizing. In my opinion, I think that makes it too much like playing with fire for me.
