Do you think we would ever be told when/if humans are cloned? "We" meaning the masses...not the people we vote into office who are supposedly there to represent us. My guess is a big, fat NO.
This is news to me. Not that I don't think people have tried it, but it's more difficult to clone people than thought, not to mention the ethical implications. Being a twin, I find it hilarious when people think that a clone will be identical to the person being cloned, even the point of sharing some kind of consciousness. Clones would be even more divergent from twins, because they wouldn't share the same environment during development (both fetal and post-womb).
but if they could, that's cool, I'll clone myself and then whenever any of my organs are worn out I'll harvest them from my clone. What, you can't do that? I'm not sure why people want to get cloned then.
