I am in love....

God I hope my boobs fit... I also have some stretch makes on my boobs I need to hide... Yeah I know embarassing - it's not my fault I got C cup books when I was 11.... damn growth spurts. Anyway - I need to make sure the neckline is high enough to cover them.

Also not sure if that shade would match my venue which is kinda yellow in theme.

Shameless plug for Sophia Tolli dress...

You should ask the salon about the color options, b/c the ones in the "real life" photos definitely look different than the one the model is wearing.

I''m sure you could also make some adjustments to the top part. Unfortunately, I have the opposite problem when it comes to the chest area (ie need something to augment mine!), so can''t help you out much there

The dresses come in champagne or natural (an ivory-ish color). My dress, 3852 looks blush color on the model. The sample I tried on was in champagne, but I did look at other dresses in the natural and they were ivory.

Sorry I am cracked out.... So champagne is like pinkish and the natural is more yellowish right?

Thanks for everyone''s input! This is quite informative!

The casablanca line is cheaper from what I have seen than Paloma Blanca... my dress was $790 before alterations....

And thank you! I can''t wait until my dress is in...

The color of the dress in the ''real life'' photo looks to me like it is shell. I am considering that dress too- it is beautiful! I was told the dress comes in white, ivory, or shell (which is the pinkish shade).

it comes in white!!!! yeahhhhhhhhhhh

Blue Eyes, where did you find the Casablanca 1831 for that price? The bridal shop quoted me $1,000 plus $300-$500 in alterations.

ILove: I completely feel you on the stretch mark issue! I have a 15 month old and my boobs got HUGE during the pregnancy, and now they are smaller than they were when I was 3. So, I, too have the damn stretch marks. I am SUPER paranoid of them as well.. and my dress (which is similar to # 1 on the top at least) covers them quite well. The only time I was at all worried was when I raised both arms straight up in the air.. but the seamstress told me she would take in the bust enough where it wouldn''t move! Plus, I bought this Clinical Lotion from AVON that swears in 2 weeks there is a 98% improvement in the look, depth, color and feel of the stretch marks. I KNOW it probably won''t do anything, but its totally worth a shot to me!!! Cant wait to see pics of you in your dress!

I was actually quoted less on the 1831 (If I remember correctly $680). I live in Eastern, PA... the bridal shop is a family owned business that has been around forever. My mom had actually gotten her wedding dress there back in the 70''s. I had gone to several shops in the area to see other dresses and price shop a bit and the salon were I bought the dress was the cheapest by far (and nicest/most helpful).

Were are you dressing shopping? Where you live might make a huge difference.

hahah we are stretch mark sisters... I have tried every cream out there but I don''t think they will help at all unless yours are still pinkish. If they are pink they are new and creams with collagen can help the elasticity in your skin come back. Laser can help too! Unfortunately mine have been there since I was very young and are white in color... Most people say they arent that noticeable but I am super self-conscious

I shall be posting pics Thursday evening :)
