I don't think so, Laurie. I'm pretty sure spaghetti needs full sun.
But I think you can grow fettucini in light shade. Takes a while for the trees to start bearing, though.

In classes today we did an April Fools reading compreehnsion and it talked about the bumper crop of spagetti and a BBC report on it. Some of my less clued in students wanted to know if spagetti trees would grow here in Florida!!!

JewelFreak said:Florida isn't a good place, really. It ripens too fast & the last thing you want to harvest is sticky spaghetti, spoiled before you get it to market. Fusilli's an idea, iLander, wonder if it's too late to plant some. The orzo bushes are just doing great in this hot weather.
