Wedding Has anyone done a waterfall veil or seen one?

I am trying to figure out what sort of veil to get. I actually purchased one online and am returning it. It was a very simple waist-length one tier traditional style veil. It was not at all what I wanted...too poofy, too wide, cut edge that went straight across on the bottom (it looked chopped off to me).

I am wondering about the waterfall veil. I want something sheer and simple that cascades down my back and lengthens me, and doesn''t drape across my shoulders and arms to bug me. Simple, simple, simple is what I want.

Has anyone worn a waterfall veil or tried one on? All I have is this pic. I''d never heard of this style before stumbling across this website.

My sister wore a waterfall veil for her wedding. The veil is worn with a tiara or similar shaped headpiece, and starts at the top of the head. While the edges aren''t just cutt off, it does drape over the shoulders, it''s generally pretty poofy (<--- technical term

). I think if you want a veil that doesn''t touch your shoulders, you should consider getting one that sits at the base of your head or under a bun.
