awww thanks guys, lorelei you are too sweet for thinking about my day!!!

we are just having a simple breakfast this morning and a small lunch to prep ourselves for the ultimate food-gasm dinner later that is La Fondue. hehe. we go about 2x a year, once on anni and once on my bday typically because it''s soooo rich and intense we have to spend the rest of the time recovering,haha. but it''s so fun for us.

the blingage actually just arrived at the FedEx station and we will head over to pick it up when we go out for some shopping!!! i will definitely report back with pictures! funny random story on how it came about...it was so last-minute. greg realized he was out of ''gift credit'' as he calls it (my bbag being the last big gift i got and it lasted him on ''gift credit'' through vday) this week and told me to tell him what i wanted. i had kind of been scouting around thinking what might be nice and small for a commemorative gift for 3 years if he did want to get me something...but then he surprised me and told me the budget was 2x what i had been thinking. so i sent him an idea that i liked within budget, and he said ''oh that is too small! what is the next largest size?

'' ... since i really never hear that out of my darling husband''s mouth, i wasn''t about to delay....i hurriedly sent him the next size info and cost and he made the call and sealed the deal.

the funniest part is that i was in an all day meeting that day, but accessing email and working during the time, so this was basically all happening on a tuesday afternoon while i sat in a conference room on my laptop, instant messaging about my anniversary gift in between viewing presentation slides! HAH! so anyway he gets MEGA hubby points for this and i think he knows it but that''s okay. also we are traveling in 2 weeks to visit his family and friends in the east coast, so he can definitely continue to get the mega hubby props for at least a good few more weeks. hehee. he''s actually as excited as i am about seeing it, so cute.

my gift to him is getting us a pair of road or cruiser bicycles so that we can take afternoon weekend rides together...he mentioned a week or two ago that it''d be fun if we had bikes to take rides since we have been doing so much walking but that limits our ''range''...and i thought oh that is the perfect gift for our anniversary! i had been really stumped on what to get him this year...plus he loves practical stuff for gifts, so this fits the bill hehee.

anyhow thanks again for thinking of us!! i can''t believe it''s already been 3 years?!!??! time flies!!

Thanks everyone!! Today was a great day! We got our bicycles and accessories...had a wonderful dinner together, gave each other our sappy cards...and overall just had a very nice day. Oh and we picked up the bling too, doh!!
