I looked up a Tacori picture in response to the Tiffany vs. Tacori thread and, upon poking around, found a picture of Halle's ring on The Engagement Ring Blog, lol. Didn't even know there was such a thing. It's not a close-up though. Hopefully someone can find a better picture.

I would imagine the bezel will protect it somewhat, but if it was damaged, I'm guessing she's got a dollar or two tucked away that she could replace it.... agreed??

No ill-will towards Halle--just making light of the fact that she doesn't have the best track record with relationships. Her 'picker' seems a bit off. I hope this is different for her. The poor thing has picked some bad ones--cheaters, jerks and juiceboxes.

I am a bit skeptical about Olivier considering he cheated on Kylie Minogue while she was undergoing treatment for breast cancer, and women who love jerks find it a hard habit to break!

I was browsing on Halle Berry to see if I could find a better pic of the ring, and the comments after the article, man 80% of the posters were simply hateful of Halle Berry, blaming her for all her breakups, calling her really derogatory names. I guess I don't know much about her, but she comes off as pretty down to earth. Where is all this hate come from?

Maybe people have something in particular against Halle, but it could also be that Hollywood marriage are kind of infamous that way at this point. It's hard to be other than cynical about any of them lasting, but I'm sure I don't know why someone would go to the trouble to post personally mean hateful things against a particular person. I think we should wish her the best, but I'm not too hopeful.

Halle is certainly beautiful in a classic way that is unusual to see nowadays even in Hollywood--maybe there's some jealousy?

Women tend to all wish to be beautiful (and thus, sometimes to be jealous) in spite of the all the evidence there is that beauty doesn't make your life better or your relationships more likely to last. Yes, men look at you when you come into a room or walk down the street, and yes, they pay you compliments and some few manage to parlay looks into a career (for a while) but in the end beauty doesn't buy you lasting love as many Hollywood stars and models prove.

this would be my concern- wearing am emerald of a big size daily with it being not as durable as a diamond or sapphire.
