ignore the tag still on the veil in the last one, haha! i was uh...accessorizing! yeah! i was accessorizing my accessories!

okay, i lied. this is the last one...i *think* it''s closer up of the face so you can see the makeup...*think* being the operative term there, haha!

Doodle honey you are very pretty!! I like the makeup from what I can see in the pics. I would have them put something on to make it a little more matte though and maybe add a touch more blush. I like the hairstyle on you a lot. But I'm not liking the execution as it's looking a little limp they way it was curled (you can see it from the side). Can they do it with rollers instead of a curling iron and brush it out, it just needs some volume? I love your veil, it's perfect. Your hair is really shiny and lovely, BTW.

Doodle- you are so cute! I''ll second Gypsy''s sage advice, not sure I have much else to offer- but you definitely shouldn''t be shy about your cute self

Doodle, you look great

Did you specify neutrals, or a sophisticated look? I would go for more color, since you seem to be quite young. More pink!

aw, thanks guys! i''m actually 24, but i look about 13, haha! she told me on the day of, she''d be curling my hair pretty tight with rollers since it''d have to be done so much earlier than the time of the actual wedding, but since it wouldn''t have time during the trial to relax, she did it with a curling iron because she thought i''d get a better idea of what it''d look like than if i had poodle ringlets. that was a REALLY long sentence, lol!

Doodle, you look very pretty! You have such nice features, good bone structure, and shiny, healthy-looking hair.

I''m just an amateur MUA (I would always make up my sorority sisters for formals), but I would do your makeup with a heavier hand. You have such nice, symmetrical brows--I would darken them a few shades to better frame your eyes. Your eyes look pretty in the photo, but I would also darken the eye makeup to make them really pop. You will want to be able to see them standing out in pictures. I would also lightly contour your blush--nothing like the 80''s contouring--just to show off your bone structure. Your skin looks fresh and dewy, but I would make sure you have blotting papers on hand just in case you get a little shinier, and I''d probably lightly dust some powder over your T-zone for pictures. What looks dewy in real life can be picked up as major shine in photos.

By the way, I love your veil--it looks very romantic!

Hi Doodle! I also had my hair and make-up trial today!

You look BEAUTIFUL! So fresh and natural! I''m so jealous of how clear your skin is. You''re going to make a really, really lovely bride!

Oh doodle, you look so happy!!!

I agree with Gypsy though. I would ask for a little more matte, or barring that, get some MAC blotting powder and have that available to lightly dust your face so you don''t end up with too much sheen.

Although this can be touched up in photos, you want to set the makeup and make sure it will last throughout all the festivities and dancing and such. So exciting, isn''t it??

Doodle, you are so pretty! I actually like the dewy look - you have a youthful glow and you look radiant!

You are so pretty! I think the hairstyle looks really nice on you, and it will look even better and more bouncy. when they do it the day of with the rollers. Your veil is gorgeous, by the way. I''m not good at makeup, so I''ll leave that to the other ladies here.

I second Miracles- you look so excited in the pictures! YAY!

You''re beautiful!

ditto Gypsy-maybe a bit of blush and a tiny bit heavier around the eyes and it will look perfect. You''re so pretty! I love the hair though and the veil is great.

I agree! You''re beautiful! The makeup seems a little light to me though, and I think a little more volume in your hair would make it more beautiful.

awwww, thanks for all the flattery! now i know where the term "blushing bride" comes from! i think the lightness with which she applied the makeup may be the one drawback to having one of your closest friends do your makeup--she knows i usually don''t wear it, so i think she was a little paranoid that i''d feel like we were having a repeat performance of my cousin''s wedding (i told her all about how i looked like david bowie, haha--the girl from MAC SPACKLED over my eyebrows, a la mrs. potatohead...does anyone here realize how difficult it is to have makeup so bad you look like david bowie AND mrs potatohead?!?!). i appreciate all the feedback, and i''ll pass it on to H. woohoo, 12 points for the peanut gallery!

I have to agree that you look lovely Doodle

another fab anti-shine product that i use regularly is lancome''s pure zone t-zone matifier gel. it''s good because you can apply it under make up but also dab it over make up for instant matte effect - http://www.lancome-usa.com/skincare/moisturizers/pure-focus-t-zone-matifier.htm

I recommended it to a friend for her wedding and she even used it on her hubby for the photos!

doodle, I missed this thread earlier...

I agree with the others, you look beautiful.

I''m with Krissie, I like dewey skin when the skin is flawless - you seem to have really good skin, fine pores, etc. So I think it looks great. I could see though how it something that starts as dewey would deteriorate quicker and last less...so I think Gypsy has a point.

I wonder what Italia would say about that...maybe she''ll chime in.

I think the makeup needs to be a little bit heavier, but not by much...like the others said, a little more around the eyes, more blush...
