He did, even though he was very shy because he thought they were all going to say he wasn't good enough or some whacked out craziness like that. Hopefully this time he'll feel more confident and therefore be less nervous! *crosses fingers*

I'm enjoying the sun and ocean here. I miss my doggies, though.

Mmmm, the first part sounds lovely--I miss the ocean, but even more, the sun! Sorry you miss you doggies. How soon will you see them again?

Oh no, not until May! That is a long time, although I''m sure they will positively douse you in love when you do see them again.

By the way, for those of you who don''t browse the Ladies in Waiting forum, J proposed on March 31st with my great-grandmother''s engagement ring. We''re planning on getting married next March/April in England and have been spreading the news to all my family and friends here in the US on our visit that started April 1st. Yay!!

Hey, sweetie! Sorry, I didn''t see this before--they were all absolutely thrilled, or completely not surprised at all, haha! A few were like, "Well, duh, it''s about time.

" But yeah, they were all really happy for us, and it was so wonderful to get to share the news in person with all of them.

Yeah, it felt really good. The only downside was when we told everyone we had to get married in England, some faces fell a bit because they may not be able to afford to come over for the wedding.

As a result, I''m trying to find somewhere to have the wedding that''s relatively inexpensive for them to stay and easily accessible from international airports, but so far those places are definitely way out of budget. This wedding planning stuff kinda sucks.

Well if you need a hand with any of it you know where to shout! I''m only an hour away on a plane. You definitely deserve the wedding day that you want. I so hope that you get one with your friends and family there.

Ok, so can I just say that now James and I have a CAR?!!?!?!!!!!!! After a year and a half, I finally have a car again!! How I have missed having one, oh my gosh!!!!!! Once we get some time (crazy busy over the next couple weeks) and have it washed, I''ll probably post a pic or two just because I am so insanely excited and happy to have one!

It's great having access to a car again, even if I can't drive it myself yet.

Hi, guys! Sorry if I''ve left you hanging--I don''t often come into Who''s Who.

Delster, sweetness, I would LOVE to get my UK license soon, but because I am afraid the insurance costs will be too expensive at the moment, the license and driving will have to wait. But yes, it is a manual, and I looooove driving a manual transmission! One of the things I miss most about home is driving. It''s so freeing! Can''t wait until I can drive again!

Hi, Sarah!! I'm doing ok--spending the weekend doing little birthday surprises for James since his birthday is next Sunday (we'll be away the whole weekend, so I wanted to do some special things for him this weekend).

My job is really tough, so the weekends feel like heaven to me. And I am getting some wedding stuff done! Next up is sending in our immigration paperwork (that is now FREE!!!! instead of £1500) so we can finally get approved to marry and then get our legal wedding date for here in the UK! Exciting stuff!

How have you been? How was your summer? What's keeping you busy these days? How's Mr. SarahLovesJS?

My summer went well overall, but was a bit stressful getting everything done! He is doing just fine..since we moved he his commuting to work everyday so that is tiring, but other than that he''s liking where we live. How are your holidays going? Happy New Year in advance!!

But since we''re only doing a registry office wedding (similar to a city hall thing), we shouldn''t have too much trouble getting a time and date (she said hopefully!!!

Yaay, that''s not that long, you know! It''ll be beautiful I am sure.

I am not too consumed, I promise! I am trying to enjoy it. I love the law, but got my fall grades and I was unhappy. When you''re used to straight A''s or mostly A''s anything less is painful, you know? Ugh! But alas it was only my first semester, I am moving on. Have any cool weekend plans?
