Its not as bad as the actress (I forget her name) who called her son Audio Science, not to mention a tacky celebrity over here called Jordan who called her daughter Princess Tiiami!
Okay..why do celebrities do that to their poor child!
Do they not know how mean kids can be in grade school?
Giving a child a very different name, might lead to a lifetime of misery for the poor child.
ZUMA? (especially for a boy..Sheesh)
Sounds like a ride at an amusement park!
Zuma is quite unique, but I think celebrity kids get sort of a "free pass" for that kinda thing. It''s become expected that celebrities name their kids something unique; after all, no one would be talking about little baby John. I love Gwen & Gavin as a couple
Congrats! I'm sure he'll be just as cute as Kingston.
The name
News achors here were having a field day with it I can tell you that. One said something to the effect of there should be law that the drugs must be out of your system before being allowed to name your kid. Another said the name makes her think of Lunesta.
I love Gwen Stefani, but I don't like that name for their child. I don't understand why people give their kids really weird names like that, I do like unusual names but not the over the top ones like Apple.
Even though Zuma is the name of a beach in Malibu, I think it is a really odd name for a person. "Zuma Nesta Rock" is a pretty awful combination, IMO. I honestly liked "Apple" a lot more as a name. At least it''s not as bad as "Pilot Inspektor" and "Moxie Crimefighter," the children of Jason Lee. Those would be hard to beat.
A friend and I have had a standing bet that a celebrity will name their child "Cyborg" (he says they will, I say they won''t). Despite having placed a bet to the contrary, I would not be surprised if it happened in the near future.
