Guess who used Apple Maps?

I know I'm the only one in the universe, but I don't understand what makes the new maps so horrible? I've used them several times for directions in the last few days and everything has been fine. What am I missing?

It really is too bad Google pulled the plug - not just for Apple. They're generations ahead - which of course is the point, but...

OT - I like the new Apple/Samsung competiton ads, they're cute I gotta say I don't get Apple at all though -
"Oy Samsung we're gonna sue the pants off you over a thousand stupid little things - but oh, could you keep making our hardware, pretty please?"

You are only one of a zillion users.
You just happened to not look for one of the many locations that are missing, incorrectly located, or distorted.

The people who DID look for those places are the ones affected.

Oh I was sure there was some reason they issued an apology, I just wasn't sure if it was the new style/format or what. Thanks for explaining.

I used it to route a trip I was going on. I already knew which way I was going, as it was both the shortest and fastest. Apple maps gave me three route options, none of which were the one I was taking.
