Some cakes do not ship well, but I can get some of the more delicate items (like Keylime Pie) in cheesecake form if you like cheesecake. I have a source for flourless chocolate cakes and one for divine cheesecakes that come in many, many flavors (such as Key Lime). Mary of Puddin'' Hill makes a divine praline pecan cake, too. It is like pecan pie (which I love) plus Scottish shortbread! It''s your day and your choice!

Lisa, I guess I''m another latecomer who has been working too much this past week. but I wanted to offer my belated congratulations and thanks for all you contribute here. I''ve been working in the Internet space since before there was on Internet (the old ARPANET, which was the government-run precurser to the Internet) and was Washington counsel to one of the major online companies (now largely defunct), but I have never become involved in an online community until I found Pricescope. I only joined up now because of people like you. All the best to you, and good luck in your search for Nanny''s ring.

If it is towards the end of April I will certainly try. But remember, the next Gem Show is in Chantilly not 10 munutes from my house in mid-May, and there at least used to be a decent restaurant/bar in a hotel within walking distance of the Expo Center. Hopefully we can get a group together for that as well.

Sorry sorry again, had another actor workshop weekend. Thanks yes, very happy about the new job...or maybe it''s relief LOL. Featherasscher is now in Mark Morrell''s possession and we''ll soon be finalizing designs then he''ll be setting it. It may be a while though he''s got quite a few projects ahead of ours. He informed me it is officially "bridal season" LOL and here we thought we were so clever waiting until after the holidays and valentines

. Also, we may be one of his last custom clients

he is holding off on custom work for now talk about getting in under the wire whew! Congrats again on your 10K I have to go look at Nanny''s ring thread soon gotta do some PS catch up!

Sometimes I get blown away by what people say. But I do thank you from the heart. So sweet and kind of you. Nanny knows something is up. But ultimately it will be a surprise. She is missing her ring something fierce. I told her I was working on getting her a new ring. She said, well it won't be like mine. I said no, but it will be beautiful, thanks to the kindness of PS. Sometimes you have to quit with the details with her. I told her about my 10K post, and the 1K I would get. She said why in the world would anyone give you Ten thousand dollars. I said NO Nanny, I am just getting a gift certificate, now THAT she could understand. Ughhh

Thanks Lisa......the interim move went well and we are enjoying our newfound freedom from homeownership, but the move to our new home should be in May. For the time being, we are in an 800 square foot one bedroom apartment. But it is within walking distance of our gym, restaurants and shops, which is actually a lot of fun.

Again, congrats on the 10,000 posts. You have to post pics of what you treated yourself to with the $1,000 gift. That is what they give you right?
